Hi Sword, you helped me figure out what to purchase in ‘17. Now I’m thinking it’s time to buy a new Macbook. Mine is still on High Sierra. Even if I keep this one, is it ok to update it to whatever system, Catalina, etc.? Not seeing an update for Sierra. Thanks, TW

There are security reasons to do so.
The MacBook to update to is any with an M1 or better processor. You’ll be blown away at the improvements.

Howdy, Swordmaker. Any chance that this bit of Apple spyware has been integrated into this new update? No. Apple got reamed over that idea. I think they’ll drop it.

One has to wonder if they won't just slip it into the next OS update without telling anyone.
Things were so much easier when people, as well as society as a whole, was more trustworthy.
