My comments on The Daily Expose article "Chris Whitty ordered the NHS to give alleged Covid-19 patients lethal doses of Hydroxychloroquine....

ransomnote: the article does link to information which seems to prove that a trial protocol specified that participants be given 2400mg of a drug in a 24 hour period, which appears to be extremely high and potentially lethal.

I've heard all along that every time a government agency (ours or UK or other nation) tests HCQ/AZ or Ivermectin and declares it a failure, the dosages are wrong (too high, too low), are timed wrong (too little, too late, next doses delayed) or are missing important steps (Azithromycin WITH HCQ). The few accusations I checked out of this kind seemed to be correct. But I have not checked all the studies so my experience is limited.

This author is outraged and appears to state the SUSPECTED reason why the dose to be administered in 24 hours is so high as if motive is known. I understand the reasoning because I've seen the other assertions and a few studies etc., but the author has no proof WHY the dosages are in fact so high.

Perhaps a better question is to ask in all these cases why the governments testing and purporting to 'prove' HCQ and Ivermectin supposedly don't work, keep diverging from recommended dosages and protocols provided by those who say these drugs work (e.g., why not test Dr. Zelenko's protocol?).

So the usefulness of the article, for thse interested, might be in acquiring experience looking at possible reasons why some studies say Ivermectin works to an outstanding degree:

And then comparing those successful protocols with the failed protocols used in government studies, and questioning decision makers as to why, as in this case, a dosage may be so alarmingly high or why the protocol may diverge from those used successfully. At the very least, the health and safety of the trial participants could benefit from such explorations prior to testing.

The public has been riding a rollercoaster -with reports alternating between near miraculous benefits (Of Ivermectin, HCQ) followed by reports of danger and disaster). Science allows for practical comparisons and decision making - BRING IT ON!

In the RECOVERY Trial and the REMAP-CAP Trial they used an extremely high and potentially lethal dose: 800 mg at 0 and 6 hours followed by 400 mg at 12 hours and then every 12 hours for up to nine additional days. According to David Jayne, professor of clinical autoimmunity at Cambridge University:

“Hydroxychloroquine overdose is associated with cardiovascular, neurological, and other toxicities, occurring with doses over 1500 mg, and higher doses are associated with fatality.”

In an article for the BMJ found here co-head of the Recovery Trial Martin Landray explained:

“The dose comes from modelling by Nick White, professor of tropical medicine at the University of Oxford, and his team, who have extensive experience with this drug.”

Sir Nicholas White was involved in the WHO’s “Informal consultation on the potential role of chloroquine in the clinical management of COVID 19 infection” on March 13th. Also present were 5 “Experts” affiliated with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The WHO’s SOLIDARITY Trial used the same dose for hydroxychloroquine as the RECOVERY & REMAP-CAP Trials.

Chinese scientists had already recommended a much lower and safer dose on March 9th 2020:

“a loading dose of 400 mg twice daily of hydroxychloroquine sulfate given orally, followed by a maintenance dose of 200 mg given twice daily for 4 days is recommended for SARS-CoV-2 infection” "
