In Texas you do not have to take horse medicine. (I know lots of people who do) It is regularly prescribed where I live and it works. The local drug store has it on hand, does not have to special order it.

My 95 year old father was diagnosed with Covid19 in December. He was prescribed 3mg Ivermectin tablet 4X per day for 3 days. No symptoms by the 4th day. He had long history of heart trouble, and Pick’s disease. He did die in March, but it was not because of Covid.

Find a deep voiced guy to leave a “Voice Message from Horse to Owner”

""The man had been taking Ivermectin for numerous weeks despite being warned repeatedly about the possible side effects. He insisted, however, that he has not experienced any side effects except not being able to “see in the morning.”"

Other than temporarily blindness, no problems.

At V & V Tack and Feed in Las Vegas, store associates like Shelly Smith are asking customers who are interested in purchasing the drug to show a photograph of the horse they own...

Two things pop in to mind. We use ivermectin on our homestead, and we don't have any horses. What business is it of the feed store what kind of animals we have? Secondly, what business is it of the feed store what people use the ivermectin for? Sounds to me like a bit of true fascism by the feed store going on here. This type of behavior by businesses has made it harder and more expensive for us to get what we need to maintain the health of our animals.

Kind of scary that people don't have a problem with businesses behaving in this manner; especially people here on FR.

“The man had been taking Ivermectin for numerous weeks despite being warned repeatedly about the possible side effects.”

Sounds like it’s not a problem for him. Just don’t down the whole tube at once and you’re fine. In fact, the tube should last an adult between 5 and 10 dosages - if you can’t get at least 5 doses from a tube, you’re either taking too much or you’re taking the right amount, but you’re obese.

The FDA has said multiple times that Ivermectin is not approved for human use and it can be dangerous in large doses. The agency added that “animal drugs are often highly concentrated because they are used for large annuals like horses and cows, which weigh a lot more than we do — a ton or more. Such high doses can be highly toxic in humans.”

The final paragraph explains the problem pretty well. Some might, or they are, taking larger doses than intended for humans. That's human error and not a reason to try to scare everyone away from a drug that's proven beneficial in many parts of the world.

The man had been taking Ivermectin for numerous weeks despite being warned repeatedly about the possible side effects.

Meanwhile, in Africa, people take Stromectol to prevent the scourge of River Blindness. Because Africa is on a different planet where different health effects result from the same compound.

I’ve taken ivermectin horse paste. I followed recommendations here: https://www.maximpulse.com/permethrin/ivermectin-calculating-a-dose.html

I dialed the syringe to 125# (I weigh 200#) and added it to some plain full fat yoghurt. Every three days for a month. I also took vitamins and zinc (and other minerals). No issues at all — except for some tail swishing and hoof stomping 😄 🐴

My daughter who is 4 months pregnant caught Covid. Went to the local farm/home store got Ivermectin (apple flavor) and used the prescribed amount and was fine after 4 days! I will note she asked her Mid-wife about using it and she said it was fine to do so.

I sense a business opportunity here. Set up a shop just down the block selling little plastic bags of horse poo for five bucks a shot. You’d...uh...clean up.

Why on earth take the animal version instead of the 3 or 6 mg tablet for humans. If your doctor won't prescribe, use India or Mexico pharmacy, the 3mg averages under 2 bucks.
