They use it in Africa for River Blindness, a disease that's quite common, like malaria is common.
What's with the Health Nazi BS for an illness that the quacks won't give you therapeutics for anyway?
I can get these things over the counter in a third world country - but not in HealthNazi USA...
Math is hard.
I’ve taken ivermectin horse paste. I followed recommendations here: https://www.maximpulse.com/permethrin/ivermectin-calculating-a-dose.html
I dialed the syringe to 125# (I weigh 200#) and added it to some plain full fat yoghurt. Every three days for a month. I also took vitamins and zinc (and other minerals). No issues at all — except for some tail swishing and hoof stomping 😄 🐴
Mustang photos selling fast.

I don’t have those problems just an uncontrollable urge to neigh from time to time.
My daughter who is 4 months pregnant caught Covid. Went to the local farm/home store got Ivermectin (apple flavor) and used the prescribed amount and was fine after 4 days! I will note she asked her Mid-wife about using it and she said it was fine to do so.
I sense a business opportunity here. Set up a shop just down the block selling little plastic bags of horse poo for five bucks a shot. You’d...uh...clean up.
Why on earth bother with an international pharmacy and end up on a U.S. customs illegal drug importation list when I can walk down the street and purchase the horse version for $4 (I did).

If I don’t need it immediately and have that option, I would prefer to take the small pill. Slightly easier to dose and take. If I can obtain that small additional comfort, I would.
In this sue happy culture you can’t trust that people who misapply your product won’t sue. Sure you’ll probably win, eventually, if you don’t go bankrupt first. Then of course there’s the problem of what the government will do if you become known as a store that sells animals meds people are using. There’s simply no upside to this for them.
We use Sheep Drench on our sheep and goats. it works fine for both. Bonus points on the fact that dosage is done by body weight; contrary to what the anti Ivermectin propaganda says.
If they will lie about that; what else will they lie about?
That's the crux of the problem. What's worse is that there are many FReepers that have ZERO problem with the government getting involved in things like this. They are posers and disruptors who have no place in our future.
What if the horse owns them? animal rights you know....................
You’re misrepresenting things. It doesn’t matter whether or not we have a problem with the government getting involved in things like this. They WILL. And a proprietor needs to understand that.
Vee need to zee your horses papers.
Bullshit. You are right, the government WILL get involved. We are to the point that people need to start saying "NO!". I am losing my job. I am losing the homestead I've worked on for the last 6 years, because I am saying "No". I have to start from scratch at age 55, because I am taking a stand. Anything thing you say in defense of it is bullshit as far as I am concerned.
Canadian pharmacies, too, though more expensive.
Fire your midwife.
current evidence does not support whether ivermectin is safe during pregnancy and recommended to continue to exclude pregnant women from treatment
https://www.thelancet.com/journals/langlo/article/PIIS2214-109X%2819%2930490-5/fulltext
At 10-100 times higher than current human doses, ivermectin is a known teratogen in mammals....There is insufficient evidence to conclude on the safety profile of ivermectin during pregnancy. Treatment campaigns should focus additional efforts on preventing inadvertent treatment of pregnant women.

What does it mean if you find a horseshoe?
