A judge denied an emergency request by a woman who wanted to enter her condo to rescue her cat Coco before the demolition. Thirty minutes before the building was imploded.
I wonder if anyone tried to get a priest to say a public prayer for the souls of the dead?
Probably not. Most Floridans are probably not thinking about spirits right now. Reality is breathtaking enough alone.
In addition, the health dept. wants things wrapped up asap.

The cat may have had a chance to escape. But the rest of the owners and tenants in that building were not allowed to go back in and retrieve any of their personal items or property.
Gone. Just gone.
That is really sad. Memories can’t be replaced

I just watched a video clip of Bush giving a speech on 09/15/2006 and he accidentally said there was explosives in the Twin Towers.

there is a high risk that the rest of the building would topple if storm winds hit it. Only a tinfoil wearing nutter would think otherwise.
It’s amazing how little or no evidence is required to turn any event into an impossibly huge impossibly stupid conspiracy. But yet, it happens hourly around here.

That’s quite true. FR has become a den of conspiracies, many of which ironically are in contrast to each other. For example, 1) Ashli Babbitt is a ‘crisis actor’ and wasn’t shot and killed and it’s all a scam and 2) Ashli Babbitt was shot and killed by this or that group. Conspiracies everywhere. From shootouts in German cities between Delta Force and the CIA; to President Trump still being President and in control of the government/nuclear football; to XYZ supposed to happen on this or that date; and secret messages from a secret person who everyone just believes even when, if he existed, he’d be the perfect Dem plant (and if he exists may actually be, considering the lack of accuracy of his/their statements).
There have been more conspiracies posted on FR in the past 18 months than in the past 18 years, and almost everyone seems ok with it.
And what’s interesting is there is absolutely no standard of proof required for a conspiracy. None. And otherwise intelligent people will ‘trust plans’ that would have been laughed at on FR 5 years ago. Laughed and derided, but now have become a core characteristic of FR.
Not bout conservative values anymore. No, not that. Rather group think, secret messages to be interpreted, and conspiracies.
No wonder the Republic is in trouble. When those who should be smarter are reduced to children with a secret decoder ring!
