IMHO: America has nothing to celebrate on the 4th of July as long as the WH is occupied by a proven criminal and a traitor.

I always take these kind of presentations with a grain of salt. Suppose you ask 100 people a question, and get 5 stupid answers. If you then only highlight those 5 people, it would be entertaining, but meaningless.

Point #2: The days of when a teacher can decide which topics to teach are long gone. Everything is now decided by supervisors at the school board level, or above. So if a supervisor decides that the Fourth of July should be ignored in favor of Earth Day, the social studies teacher had better do that or be fired.
Yes, you are right to be upset at this. But when you blame teachers you are aiming at the wrong target.

Really, why is anyone on this site going to celebrate the 4th of July this year of for the next couple of years ... what’s the point?

The 4th of July is a F’ing Joke holiday ... meaning less as far as I’m concerned. I’ll just cut the grass, split some firewood for next winter and get ready for work on Tuesday.

Independence? Independence from what? Independence from a marxist one party system where the exalted leader is illegitimately ‘elected’? Independence from one sided law enforcement? Independence from a dear leader who says that he is going to nuke the citizens who oppose him. Independence from the propagandists who we call a ‘free’ press? Americans should be in mourning, not celebrating. We are under an illegal, totalitarian dictatorship and conservatives have just meekly accepted our fate.
