8 takeaways from the government's big UFO report
CNN ^ | Chris Cillizza

Posted on 06/27/2021 7:45:04 AM PDT by RoosterRedux

[T]here were a number of interesting tidbits in the report [...]

1. "Our analysis of the data supports the construct that if and when individual UAP incidents are resolved they will fall into one of five potential explanatory categories: airborne clutter, natural atmospheric phenomena, USG or U.S. industry developmental programs, foreign adversary systems, and a catchall 'other' bin."

OK, so there are five basic categories for UFOs according to the report: Random airborne, uh, stuff (like birds), weather phenomenons, defense prototypes -- either from the US or "foreign adversary systems" and then the "other bin." And, yes, I (and the rest of the world) am most interested in the "other" bin.

[snip]

4. "[There were] 144 reports originated from USG sources. Of these, 80 reports involved observation with multiple sensors."

This line establishes the universe, ahem, that the task force examined. [...] [M]ore than half were confirmed by "multiple sensors."

[snip]

6. "In 18 incidents, described in 21 reports, observers reported unusual UAP movement patterns or flight characteristics. Some UAP appeared to remain stationary in winds aloft, move against the wind, maneuver abruptly, or move at considerable speed, without discernable means of propulsion. In a small number of cases, military aircraft systems processed radio frequency (RF) energy associated with UAP sightings."

Eyes emoji!!!! Like, this seems like a big deal! A total of 18 incidents where UFOs "appeared to remain stationary in winds aloft, move against the wind, maneuver abruptly, or move at considerable speed, without discernable means of propulsion." In plain English, that means that military personnel spotted unidentified aerial phenomena that appeared to be unaffected by wind, move in ways that can't be explained and be propelled in ways that can't be explained. Which is very, very interesting.

This is going out to all those hardcore liberals who don’t believe in God, evil, angels/demons, aliens, or meritocracy.

Sounds like another useless whitewash report.

I totally agree.

I’m beginning to think our current POTUS is an alien. Just look at how his eyes go from blue to pure black. I have never seen anything like it.

Sarc off.....

This CNN reporter is incredibly clueless.

There is a library of books on the history of UFOs, and they probably have read none of them.

I have listed a lot of books in the past, but here is a really old but very good one (written in the late 1950s):

My question would be who conducted this analysis? Looks like intel and law enforcement folks; NOT trained military scientists or hard science analysts. We have MANY organizations throughout DoD with trained ORSAs, data analytics pros, physicists, electrical engineers who are trained to critically assess systems (threat and friendly) and determine capabilities... I know they were not called on for this, but don’t understand why if anyone seriously wants an explanation.

Yes and no. As the saying goes, silence speaks volumes.

The military has admitted that its secure airspace is being invaded at will by solid craft detected by multiple sensors.

Not only can we not stop it, we don't know what it is or who is behind it.

But we do know it has "flight" capabilities (if you can call it flight) which are beyond anything in our inventory.

If these things were armed, our entire military would be of no value against them.

The purpose of UFOs is to subvert science—using science to study them is like using fish to study bicycles.

This is a great introduction to what this stuff is _really_ about:

You know this how?

We spend over $700 billion a year on defense in this country.

Yet these craft entering our secure airspace at will could render our military useless.

How does that compare to the cost of figuring out what these things are (and I have no idea what they are)?

” Just look at how his eyes go from blue to pure black. I have never seen anything like it.”

His eyes were extremely blue before. He’s had black eyes for a while now. Nobody gets black contacts. Lin Wood implied he’s a computer fake now.

You made a fine post until you wrote “Sarc off.....”

It was very accurate and probably true.
