We spend over $700 billion a year on defense in this country.

Yet these craft entering our secure airspace at will could render our military useless.

How does that compare to the cost of figuring out what these things are (and I have no idea what they are)?

We - i.e. the gubmint - have been looking since the 1950s ... about 75 years, with nothing to show for it. Time to quit.
It's like NASA wanting to go back to the moon. Been there, done that - there's nothing there. Time to quit.
