Israel’s Health Ministry said on Tuesday it had found the small number of heart inflammation cases observed mainly in young men who received Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine in Israel were likely linked to their vaccination.
Pfizer has said it has not observed a higher rate of the condition, known as myocarditis, than would normally be expected in the general population.
In Israel, 275 cases of myocarditis were reported between December 2020 and May 2021 among more than 5 million vaccinated people, the ministry said in disclosing the findings of a study it commissioned to examine the matter.
Most patients who experienced heart inflammation spent no more than four days in the hospital and 95% of the cases were classified as mild, according to the study, which the ministry said was conducted by three teams of experts.
The study found “there is a probable link between receiving the second dose (of Pfizer) vaccine and the appearance of myocarditis among men aged 16 to 30,” it said in a statement. According to the findings, such a link was observed more among men aged 16 to 19 than in other age groups.
The European Medicines Agency (EMA) said last week that heart inflammation following vaccination with Comirnaty had been no cause for concern as they continued to happen at a rate that typically affected the general population. It added at the time that young men were particularly prone to the condition.
A U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention advisory group last month recommended further study of the possibility of a link between myocarditis and mRNA vaccines, which include those from Pfizer and Moderna Inc.

The COVID-19 vaccine made by Pfizer and BioNTech appears to put young men at elevated risk of developing a heart muscle inflammation called myocarditis, researchers in Israel say. In a report submitted today to the Israeli Ministry of Health, they conclude that between one in 3000 and one in 6000 men ages 16 to 24 who received the vaccine developed the rare condition.
But the rate of myocarditis following vaccination among young men was higher. Ninety percent of the cases picked up in Israel appeared in men, and although myocarditis is normally more common among young men, the rate among those vaccinated was somewhere between five and 25 times the background rate, the report says. (Two cases of fatal myocarditis have also been reported in Israel, but the panel says investigations of those deaths were inconclusive; one patient may have had a more generalized inflammatory syndrome, and the other diagnosis was “not verified,” the report says.)
The new analysis “is very suggestive of a causal nature,” between the vaccine and myocarditis, Mevorach says. “I am convinced there is a relationship.”

So, the question then is the RISK.
Did the person NOT have myocarditis and then after contracting COVID, HAD myocarditis?
Did the person NOT have myocarditis and then after being vaccinated with Pfizer, HAD myocarditis?
If the answer is yes to both, which one does a person choose to risk?

Phase 1, which excludes pregnant women, people under 18 or over 55, people who've had covid and people with comorbidities, will be done by Nov 2022. Phase 2/3, run concurrently, will include those who were excluded from Phase 1. Basically since those people are being given the jab now, what we have is Phases 1-3 running concurrently with the trial participants being the public.
You are absolutely correct. No amount of screaming, crying, or namecalling can change that fact (but you should still expect a ludicrous amount of screaming, crying, and namecalling just the same).

Wondering if this has made the evening news. It’s really tragic how it’s being pushed on people younger than 30...at the very least adjust the dosage by age/weight or space out the shots by a few months to give body time to adjust right?! 🤦🏻♀️
