Web browsers controlled by Big Tech companies often collect massive amounts of user data which can be used to create detailed profiles and track you across the web. Some, such as Microsoft’s Edge browser, even integrate technology that adds “trust ratings” and “misinformation” warnings to the links in your browser.
By switching to one of these privacy-focused browsers, you can fight back against Big Tech data harvesting by blocking ads and trackers. Not only does this protect your privacy but it often gives you a much faster and smoother user experience.

Brave has been working great for me. Highly recommend it.

DuckDuckGo is a search engine.

Apparently, DuckDuckGo has not only a search engine, but a smartphone browser.

As I understand it, that one’s a stripped-down version of Brave. I have it on my own computer.

FLoC is a recent Google proposal that would have your browser share your browsing behavior and interests by default with every site and advertiser with which you interact. Brave opposes FLoC, along with any other feature designed to share information about you and your interests without your fully informed consent. To protect Brave users, Brave has removed FLoC in the Nightly version of both Brave for desktop and Android. The privacy-affecting aspects of FLoC have never been enabled in Brave releases; the additional implementation details of FLoC will be removed from all Brave releases with this week’s stable release. Brave is also disabling FLoC on our websites, to protect Chrome users learning about Brave.
DDG Has both but the Browserd is an App. To run in windows you will need to run BLUESTACKS to emulate. iOS has an App. For windoze use BLUESTACKS and the Android App.
i’m very happy with brave on PC. I use duckduckgo browser on smart phone. I’d like to try dissenter
Been on Brave for over a year, and have Pale Moon as a backup.
