Lost only email acct. What's a good one to get?(free)

Yahoo made me change the pass word to my email that I've had since 1998, lost the pass word and can't get it back. I do NOT want yahoo again.
Also need to know how to notify F.R. of the change.

I use it for my personal mail; gmail for regular stuff but they run some sort of program (algorithm) that looks for key words. Hotmail does the same (or so I’m told).

Yep.
I have a hotmail account for political stuff (no personal mail) and use the Outlook (MS Office) program to view it. I found that I have to go to webmail occasionally to see if they have quarantined anything important.
Other than that they have been very reliable.

For ease, just go with Google. There should be no expectency of privacy in email, nor anything you do online, so go with an email that is universally accepted, widely used, never down, and never hasseled with.
And, yes, Google is evil, but lots of things in life are.

Yahoo scans your emails and sells the information as part of their business model, just like Googel/gmail.
Protonmail doesn’t.

My sister has an email account through Reagan.com, but I’m not sure if it’s free or not.
I don’t know if people can get an email account through Lindell’s new platform, FrankSpeech. Maybe. You can sign up today, I think, and check it out.
