According to the article, your body is now following external instructions to manufacture an alien viral protein. (But doesn't say when it stops doing so.)
How long before your develop into a full-blown "pod person?"
Regards,
After the shot, were you issued a universally-recognized Covid passport, allowing you to now travel freely?
Can you now visit, e.g., Hawaii without having to be quarantined, etc.?
If not, then I suppose that this has done nothing to allow you to travel more freely, right?
Regards,
mRNA isn’t the same as DNA, and it cannot combine with our DNA to change our genetic code. It is also relatively fragile, and will only hang around inside a cell for about 72 hours, before being degraded.
mRNA vaccines are based on the same ancient premise going on in our cells now and since the dawn of RNA: -- delivering mRNA into our cells, which they will use to manufacture a viral protein.
For instance, when we are infected with a virus - including relatively harmless viruses like those that cause the common cold - these invaders inject their genetic material into our cells, resulting in pieces of mRNA encoding viral proteins for the common cold being sent to our protein-making machinery.
The mRNA vaccines for COVID-19 work the same way as the common cold virus.
The mRNA Covid 19 vaccines provide instructions for making the same viral Covid-19 protein --- the coronavirus ‘spike’ protein used by the virus to gain entry to our cells.
Studies indicated that it was highly immunogenic, meaning if our immune cells encounter this protein, they will mount a strong response --- which should protect recipients against future COVID-19 disease. Once our cells have manufactured the viral protein, it is displayed on their surfaces where passing immune cells can spot it and respond.
Once inside the cell, the mRNA comes into contact with protein making-machinery located in the jelly-like cytoplasm filling the cell. It does not enter the nucleus, which is where our chromosomes (DNA) are stored.

Nonsense. I had my first Pfizer jab and I feel fine.
And so do I.
Texas is giving CDC issued cards with stickers that have your DL info(name , do number, Bday ECT. Plus your vax.manufacturer, batch number and vial number the second dose sticker has a QR code linking to the county or state database that your release form allows them to keep said info in and if you actually read it they are sending the info to the CDC as well. Which is good since only the CDC can issue yellow cards. What’s a yellow card?
It’s the CDC/WHO International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis.
You need one to get into any Central African country with a valid yellow fever vaccine but with the CDC covid database they will be issuing yellow cards by the millions upon request and you most certainly will need that yellow card for international air travel the EU is also working on yellow card databases the Israelis have theirs running and in phone app form. I have a yellow card from years of Africa work adding covid19 to it will be a nothingburger all th info was scanned at the vaccine site my DL both sides the vial and my entry QR code all with one of those hand held scan boxes like Wal-Mart uses with a camera and red laser code reader it was beep beep beep stab beep and print stickers with digital QR codes fast n efficient.
Second Moderna shot I call Mad Dog. I woke up at one AM with chills, fever, muscle pain, bed drenched in perspiration. It reminded me of my H1N1 2012 experience. It lasted about two days, and a couple of doses of Tylenol helped when the symptoms surged. I know for sure I didn’t get the placebo.
And people think the government wi give us back the freedoms so many gave up because of a vaccine? Nope. Wear your masks. Hide. Bring in the third world. New variants. Fauci says.....
I was wiped out the day after my 1st moderna shot. Headaches, body and joint aches, chills, fatigue. @nd shot coming up early April, I’m hoping it goes better.
Except these experimental gene therapy shots were rushed through after trials on just 0.013% of the US population over a span of several weeks.

Perhaps they were pre-prepared, kinda like how gun legislation, overhaul of the medical system, reparations legislation rests dormant in a drawer until it is pulled out for use at the proper time for the prepared masses clamoring for it.
Was the Wuhan virus a product of ‘gain of function’ experimentation? It would be kinda handy if a vaccine ‘cure’ were prepared in tandem.
RNA is a messenger. Typically it carries instructions from DNA to cells telling them how to produce protiens etc. The RNA based vaccines are completely synthesized in the lab. They "program" the T cells to produce a response. Ok, sounds good - cut out the middle man, no risk from use of live virus, faster development, etc.
But we're literally programming an immune system response from a completely artificial stimulus. As I understand it, RNA vaccine technology has never before been put to widespread use. What if the RNA "program" misfires on some people, some combination of DNA? What if the RNA is damaged or degrades, can the program change? How good does quality control have to be in the manufacturing process? Can a rushed into production process meet that? Can the RNA program morph into a very different immune system response? How will it interact with people who have an auto-immune disease? As I understand it, we're still discovering variations of auto-immune diseases, so we don't even know comprehensively what's out there for the RNA to interact with.
The RNA based tech is probably, hopefully safe but... There will be side effects as we move into trials of this experimental (that's the FDA's classification) drug. But it is not really a drug, not really a traditional vaccine, it is literally gene therapy. Using genetics to invoke a response. Too many unknowns, yet we're performing widespread trials now - not on a few thousand volunteers spread over years as we study and look for side effects... Nope, tens of millions are now in the trial group. History and Murphy's law says we don't get that lucky as to be 100% successful on the first try. There will be side effects, there will be unintended consequences. Some of these may not, probably will not show up for years. By hanging the "experimental" moniker on the vaccines the FDA is protecting the pharmaceutical companies from any kind of liability. So if a large percentage of the people getting one of these RNA vaccines develop psoriasis or arthritis or some such in a few years, gosh, that's just too bad, suck it up, we'll fix that next time around...
So in this trial for the new technology I am going to self-select into the control group and not take the gene therapy. I may take the J&J vaccine in a few years (it is a traditional vaccine) if it does not show any significant side effects and if covid is still a thing.
ALL of the above-—is why I will refuse to get the vaccine. Last vaccine I got was Hong Kong flu-—and was laid flat for over 10 days. NO sick pay & NO INCOME.
My reaction to my 1st Moderna shot (COVID-19 vaccine) was minimal. Slightly sore upper arm / shoulder. A bit of fatigue the next day. One oddity: The slight soreness felt as if it moved deeper - as if deeper than my actual shoulder joint, about 24 hours in. Then the 2nd day it moved back out to the muscles over my shoulder joint. By the 3rd day it was gone. My 2nd shot is scheduled a week from now.
My wife’s 1st shot resulted in minor arm soreness only. Her 2nd shot wiped her out the day after with fatigue, but, she was ok after that for several days until...
A week later she developed a body rash over her entire body. It scared the heck out of her, but went away overnight. I thought maybe she’d coincidentally developed a food allergy - likely fish or shellfish, which she eats a lot of. HOWEVER, I’ve now heard though a friend and through a relative of two people who developed shingles-like symptoms a week to 10 days after their 2nd vaccine shot, one Pfizer, the other Moderna. These symptoms lasted two-three weeks, evidently. I do not know if those were full-body rashes (shingles usually is not, but episodes of shingles typically are a few weeks long, or longer.) My wife’s Dr. (actually the head nurse @ the office) has not heard of such “delayed” rash or shingles-like reactions, but, again from friends and relatives, at least a few are saying this is a possible reaction. I wonder, though, about confusion with lesser injection site reactions that occur more quickly.
I’m not seeing anything online about these delayed by a week or more full body rashes, OR, shingles-like reactions. Has anyone else?
Felt I was forced to get the Pfizer vaccine by my transplant team. Took my first one on Monday. Fatigue started first. Yesterday I started with extreme joint pain, which I still have.
“...The RNA based vaccines are completely synthesized in the lab. They “program” the T cells to produce a response....”

Your post is on the money up until it gets to the 2nd sentence in the above extract. That sentence is incorrect and is where your post goes “off the rails” and into the woods with all kinds of scary “what ifs”. Actually the vaccines’ mRNA simply goes to the cells’ ribosomes (the cellular protein manufacturing “machines”) where it serves as the blueprint for manufacturing the necessary antigens. From that point on the immune systems react to the antigens (by developing the needed immunity) just as they do with more traditional vaccines. That’s all the mRNA vaccines do... just provide a different means to provide the needed antigens. It’s not really scary.
I had the Johnson & Johnson Vaccine administered to me Sunday at 11AM
Monday morning, as I went to work, my neck was a little sore, just like all those nights when my pillows are not quite right. No big deal.
In addition, I was pretty tired. I chose to leave work a couple of hours early, to get some rest, because I could!
Tuesday morning, I woke up feeling tremendous.
My suggestion is ‘don’t be a pussy!’
protect yourself, your friends, your family, and help get the country moving forward again, by getting whichever vaccine you can, when you can.
Funny, I have sen 2 MDs in the last month—one my usual ,m annual check up and the 2nd—an infectious disease doc for a chronic condition. When the “vaccine” subject came up—BOTH said NO.. Thanks, but no thanks. I’ll take my MDs words over Fauxis “Doctor” claims any dasy
Trying to be dense or did someone piss in your post toasties?
No mention of passports or anything other than in your fevered little imagination.
Getting the shot was for the possible added help in fighting off the bug should I be exposed to it. We are planning on traveling to the mainland and back frequently.
He suffers from a bad case Dunning-Kruger and insists on showing off his “intelligence.”
