Here’s two reasons to actually wear some kind of face masks One , you’re a doctor in the surgery room Two there’s pollution in the air either from internal combustion engine exhaust or local combustion going on ( fires 🔥) etc There’s a really cool new free app now called purple air , we can see exactly what the particulate content is - they have private entities ( people ) purchase sensors and put them outside by their house ( or inside which doesn’t really help ) all over the world Now if you’re going to try to control particulate intrusion into your body through your mouth and nose you have to wear the equivalent of an N95 mask N95 masks all have government printing on them saying that they are that Now other than a or B there is really no reason to wear a mask , unless it makes you feel better If it makes you feel better and more secure , go for it Just understand - that if you’re trying to prevent ~ 40 nm diameter particle like a coronavirus , from passing through that material a high percentage maybe 99.8% of the masks ( ie not medical grade or industrial grade ) that are out there simply won’t do anything - except restrict your breathing of course !! And of course just remember this is not logical !!!!!for those that are really trained now by the media , like clapping seals , to wear a mask. All the time. Everywhere Here in super ultra liberal Marin county almost everybody all the time everywhere is wearing a mask around town or out on the trails Just in the last few weeks I’ve noticed that sometimes one or more people in the group will not have a mask on I will give the federal government credit they did a good job of convincing everybody that this is the movie. Epidemic. Or whatever it’s called Run ! Hide. !!! Fear for your life !!!! Avoid all contact . or even close Proximity ,, to others! At all times ! Hide your face ! ( Doesn’t it sound ridiculous now that I put it that way)
