I guess as kids we instinctively knew. Which is why 2 weeks after Halloween all we had left are the black candies withe white cat wrappers.

Man, what a way to go!

What happened two weeks ago to make him binge?
Did the manufacturer stop making red Twizlers? You know, “due to the Virus”?

The liquorice-root extract contains the natural sweetener glycyrrhizin, which is over 50 times sweeter than sucrose.

Interesting binge.

Most people use alcohol.

No reason not to do both. But I guess that licorice dessert is off the menu.

Man, I love black licorice. Just ate a couple of bags, but over a two week period. Guess I better back off a little.

Growing up, there was anise that grew along a stretch of fence in a nearby pasture.

In summer, the aroma was intense. It tastes like licorice.

Make sure you aren’t tasting hemlock. Grows wild around here. One kid died after making a pea shooter out of it.
