CHICAGO — A Chicago man known as the “Dreadhead Cowboy” is facing three charges after riding his horse on the Dan Ryan Monday afternoon.
At around 4:30 p.m., police responded to the southbound lanes of the Dan Ryan after Adam Hollingsworth, 33, better known as the “Dreadhead Cowboy,” was seen riding his horse on the expressway near 35th Street.
He rode for around 30 minutes as traffic slowed to a halt with Illinois State Police and Chicago police following close behind. Police said they asked Hollingsworth and those who were with him to exit the expressway multiple times and said they refused.
They exited at 95th Street and Hollingsworth was placed into custody. He was charged with reckless conduct, disobeying a police officer and criminal trespass.

“The thing is to send a message that our children are dying,” activist Mark Carter said. “That there are no resources coming to our communities.””
But you can have a riot on the highway and it’s just fine.
Now they’re saying the horse was “abused and injured”.

The bikers kept him safe.
They surrounded him and maintained a “fence” around him the whole way and that was one calm and well trained horse.

So the youth gangs of Chicago, are shooting innocent children because of the lack of “resources coming to our communities”???
I would love to see a debate with these imbeciles who think that gang violence is due to some lack of resources or lack of funding midnight basketball, or some other absurdity.

“resources” could mean “police resources”...as in, no police resources because the Dems and rioters are into defunding police.

I don’t see a galloping horse.
IF anything, I see a slow jog trot.
In the past 35 years, I have ridden thousands of miles on horseback.
I also suspect the rider had ‘Easy Boots’ on the horse for better traction on pavement.
Video of the incident showed the horse limping as it was being led away....
