Why did Fox News allow a story of this magnitude run with only anonymous sources? If none were willing to be on the record it can’t be good.
She heard from the same “Sources” that Trump said what he is accused of saying..this reminds me of high school..did you all hear that Suzie was doing weed in the girls bathroom..really, who told you that..my brother’s sisters best friends best friend..well that sounds totally reliable

The idea I got - and pretty sure I read it somewhere - is that Trump does have an issue with the generals - “we don’t win wars anymore” or something to that effect. I also read that Trump takes the deaths of soldiers personally which would make him even less respectful of the generals. And then there is the issue that many of these military engagements are likely conducted for a profit for the companies who supply wars. I bet POTUS is disgusted that men have died so some business can make money or some politician can make himself look good.
I really admire Trump for not being goaded into another war and for making peace agreements using economic leverage. Of course the left barely discusses that peace has broken out. The left has had to expose themselves and it’s incredibly ugly.
She did her job.
Even if the original story has been retracted, there’s now tons of stories in other locations about Trump wanting her fired and what the original Fox piece said.
It does not meet standards because such a serious accusation must have
open sources, not anonymous sources too coward to identify themselves.

I saw this yesterday. No mention of Griffen’s “confirmation” story on their homepage. So I scrolled down to the bottom to “contact” and emailed my thoughts to them. Essentially they are saying that if they get an anonymous accusation from two sources they can run with the story. Even though these former officials were released and are obviously either/or disgruntled, globalists or never Trumpers...as is Griffen. This is CNN style “modern” journalism.
My question is will Fox News completely morph into Faux News?
Glenn Greenwald (no fan of DjT) warns that Fox’s Jennifer Griffin “confirmed” nothing. Confirmed would mean she knows who the unnamed sources are, and heard the same 2nd hand knowledge from them, which she did not.
She reports she has heard some say things that compliment the meme. Terribly weak stuff.
