Experts tested a 22.5kg and a 3-metre scale model of the futuristic plane, developed by researchers at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.
We'll be moving great distances on hyperloops -- not on new kinds of planes, and not on Elon's rockets.

OK, thanks for info.

BUT

The question (unasked) was

What do you call a BOOMERANG that doesn’t come back.

I am on the ‘Schiff List’ with picture up and persona non grata in ALL Outback Steakhouses because I ask that question every time...<:<:<:

I think you’re correct. Other pointed out how poorly written the article is, including many typos.

I dunno, but if you put red high heels on the vertical stabilizers, it’d be much more interesting.

It looks like a Microsoft Office assistant

Never get me in one of those. Rebooting in mid-air has gotta be a b**ch.

Hmmmmm, add antistatic spikes at the base of those fins, and paint the fins and spikes red...

There's also the pesky matter of just where those overhead jet engines go in the event of a hard landing or mount failure.

Overhead mounted engines, especially behind a large wing design like that, are at risk for ice coming off the wings and into the engines.

Great views and practically no chance of survival in a rough landing. Everything is a trade off, risk vs. reward, eh?
