I see no such wording in the 14th Amendment. I see "born" or "naturalized", but not "natural born".

I think, according to SCOTUS, both parents have to be citizens of this country on the day the baby is born. She’s nothing more than a basic anchor baby.

I remember in 2008 when a similar article called Barack Obama a lifelong Christian (the quote came from his campaign staff) and they sprinkled in some embellished versions of facts so as to cast down on things like Obama taking Islamic studies as a kid and being enrolled as a muslim while in Indonesia.
No, SCOTUS has never ruled that and it's completely false.
If she keeps seesawing back and forth on her ethnic or race background for political props, require her do a DNA profile to determine how much is Indian and if any black percentage.
If Indian is the higher percentage as she claimed when she ran for Senate, require a red dot be tattooed between her eyes so there is no further discussion.
The meat of it:
When both parents are citizens and the child is born on US soil then the children are natural born. When only one or neither parent is a citizen then the child is also only a 14th Amendment citizen with all the same rights as a Natural Born Citizen except that of the President.
Many people confuse the term Native Born with Natural Born. The meaning of the terms is quite different now. The meaning of Natural Born has never changed. The Native born meaning changed in 1866 with the adding of the 14th Amendment.
This is a lie. Whichever side of this argument you fall on one thing we can all agree on - SCOTUS has never ruled definitively on this question.
As long as they have to explain that she is Indian, raised in Canada, I am OK. She is not an African American. And she was brought up in the Canadian middle class by an Indian women. And by the way, she has made numerous remarks that promote Pakistan over India. So Indians should not be too happy with her either.
The only real concern with natural born citizenship is whether allegiance is owed or can be claimed to another country.
Can she claim Jamaican citizenship, or not?
