I see your scenario as totally feasible. I wonder what color the National Police uniforms will be? I envision perhaps brown, with some sort of bright colored arm band. There will be many of them, fully equipped and motivated to rid the world of our kind.

In my mind, it is going to happen. Their logic will be that there has to be consistency, that cities can’t control the population because of:
Shortage of police due to mass retirements and people not turning to LE as a career.
No trust of local police forces, because lack of coordinated and professional training.
Need of consistent enforcement of hate crimes.
This is why the Democrats are allowing the cities to burn and murder rates to climb., they will save us with this plan. It’s coming like a storm and we will be unable to stop it
I think you’re right. Explains why we’re seeing what we’re seeing now. The literal survival of the United States as a constitutional republic is totally on the line Nov 3.
I think a variation of what you reference is right on.
I think 95% will turn their guns in too. The last 4 months should have opened our eyes that the vast majority of coservatives (i hate that term, btw... we’ve moved beyond the liberal, conservative paradigm) just aren’t willing or have too much to lose in to defend their rights.
MAYBE you can convince a good Chinese restaurant owner to leave NYC & move to Texas....
All a part of the “rebuilding”, “restructuring”, “retraining” of the police forces....all a part of the “transformation of America”

Eventually, they will lose it all. Feeding the crocodile only buys a little time. The level of normalcy bias is crippling.
IMO, we will have to stand up and it doesn’t appear WE have the desire. So I suspect they will have their long dreamed of National police force. The current police will mostly love the plan, won’t be much pushback. They will easily transform into federal government jobs, healthcare, all the perks.
the normalcy bias is extreme because the country hasn’t been in a true crisis since 1941, and even then, this is worse.
So, basically everyone alive more or less grew up on The Brady Bunch, Leave it to Beaver, the internet, etc.

No. Everything the protesters are doing, they are only getting away with it because the government has collectively decided to let them.
When government gets serious about stopping them, it can do so easily. In a real civil war, we don’t launch pepper spray and then push people back. They will be shot and killed, and they do not have the weapons to fight back.
The protesters don’t seem to understand that the only reason they are not being injured and killed is because, contrary to their chants, black lives actually matter to us, all lives matter to us, and we don’t want to kill people, unless we have to, while the protesters seem to be happy to kill black people, white people, and children.
