THE 1776 UNITES CAMPAIGN

“1776” is an assembly of independent voices who uphold our country’s authentic founding virtues and values and challenge those who assert America is forever defined by its past failures, such as slavery. We seek to offer alternative perspectives that celebrate the progress America has made on delivering its promise of equality and opportunity and highlight the resilience of its people. Our focus is on solving problems.

We do this in the spirit of 1776, the date of America’s true founding.

The answer to the stupidity of the 1619 nonsense, the claim that the history of America did not start in 1776, but in 1619, the year when the first slaves arrived to the colonies. Instead of the truths in the Declaration (“all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights”), this nonsensical rewritten history is that slavery defines all of America’s successes and failures.

Thanks for posting this.

I heard Robert Woodson speak on Life Liberty and Levin yesterday about the 1776 project.

They talked briefly about the 1619 curricullum which they said was now in 3000 school districts across the country.

I need to know more about this travesty of history called 1619 - have a niece who is 31 years old - whose mind has been brainwashed by such trash that she received in her college years and which she continues to absorb through the MSM fake news and other places of lies.

I need to find a way to clue her in to the TRUE TRUTH about our country.

Maybe this 1776 project would be a start. I was very impressed by Mr. Woodson.

Bob Woodson is a great man.
He is realistic in the work cut out for The 1776 Project, but is fully committed anyway. The organization is doing the work the government should be doing, especially in primary and secondary education.

A friend and I are planning to call our local school superintendent to see if the 1619 project is going to be used, & if so, to request that the 1776 Unites project replace it. Every FReeper should be doing the same thing. If we all got together & started protesting what is going on in schools we could get this country back on track.

It’s worth remembering that until Cornwallis surrendered in 1781, the entirety of what became the United States at that time was in fact, part of Great Britain. Anyone with a grievance about events during that time should seek redress there.

And Great Britain and many others did not recognize the United States as a sovereign nation util the Treaty of Paris, in 1783.
