Conservatives Are Treated like Second-Class Citizens, and That's Dangerous
American Thinker ^ | 27 Jun, 2020 | J.B. Shurk

I have a question. What use is a federal government that refuses to protect our basic constitutional rights? Twitter and Google and Facebook are censoring and demonizing conservative political speech, and nobody does a thing. Democrat mayors and governors are bankrupting American citizens by preventing them from engaging in simple commerce, and they're getting away with it. Street mobs across America are causing millions of dollars in property damage, destroying priceless historical monuments; killing police officers; and targeting random, unlucky citizens based on the color of their skin, and the press cheerlead the madness and defend the murderers and arsonists as heroes. John Kerry just the other day threatened the United States by declaring that if Democrats don't win the election in November, they will insist on "revolution."

Revolution? How else can you describe this incendiary cocktail of mob violence and flagrant denial of conservatives' constitutional rights, aided and abetted and kept volatile by Democrat mayors who applaud the mayhem, Democrat prosecutors who refuse to enforce the law, and Democrat-aligned corporations who happily treat conservatives as second-class citizens?

Is John Kerry going to herd antifa and blm for this revolution?

A FR poster recently stated that true conservatives should refer to themselves as ‘patriots’...great idea! If Mitt Rommney and Bill Kristol are ‘conservatives;, then I am a PATRIOT.

If BLM had to shakedown businesses in order to fund their ammo and arm themselves we would have found out buy now correct?

How many organizations are carrying weapons and organizing themselves for a “revolution.” Its all talk unless they are actually prepared.

The revolution against the Constitution started on Usurpation Day when both parties swore in an ineligible Kenyan/Indonesian/British subject in direct violation of that Constitution.

Patriots need to join the fight. If, as Newt framed it on Hannity last night, the Biden, Pelosi, Schumer trifecta comes in this fall, this country is done. They will have no control over the radicals and we will become a province of the CCP.

And I call them patriots, not "true conservatives" an epithet that will go down in ignomy [RIP WFB] because it has become a cover for the Ryans of the world to offer up palliatives while pandering to the left.

But the fight needs to start now because tactics will need to be developed and improved and that takes time. No plan survives contact with the enemy as Eisenhower wrote. We need to find out what part of the plan isn't working and fix it now before it is too late.

It hasn’t been dangerous so far. And a bunch of guys threatening solo action using firearms to defend their pile of stuff isn’t threatening at all.

Good article, but what the heck does this have to do with anything? What does this guy expect someone to do? And who is the “someone” who is supposed to do it?

Correct. Patriots saying they will defend and protect their lives, families, property and God-given rights, with firearms, is not a threat.

It’s a promise.

Second-class? We are treated as much lower than that.

You are right. The federal government doesn’t protect our rights to freedom of opinion and expression. Neither do local and state governments.

There is no recourse for the person who is fired for being a family member of someone who “liked” a comment by another person who criticized blm, a sexual minority, or an islamofascist.

Do you know where the ammo and weapons purchased under Obozo?

Consider the drug abuse behind the poor treatment, and do something about it. Then you’ll begin to be treated more respectfully.

The radical left’s current efforts are based on a hope that drug abuse has reached critical mass in our society.

Once they are at your front door, your rights are gone. Whether you die by a bullet or die in prison is no matter to them. As Franklin said, “we had better all hang together or most assuredly we will all hang separately.”

Because Barack Obama was right about one thing (and only one thing): we do cling to our guns and our Bibles, and when the rule of law and orderly government disappear, we know how to use both and play for keeps.

Can't be Repeated enogh!!!

One on one that’s great but not so great against government forces. Notice they have the military backing them up? In Pittsburgh the National Guard enforced martial law against the populace (G20 2009). They protected the rioters.
