Three police officers in Wilmington, North Carolina, were fired after their department discovered patrol-car video of conversations containing violent, racist comments about Black people, officials announced Wednesday.
The Wilmington Police Department took the action on Tuesday against Cpl. Jessie Moore, and Officers Kevin Piner and Brian Gilmore. Each was accused of violating standards of conduct, criticism and use of inappropriate language.

If true, deserved to be fired. But when will non-Whites be fired for doing the same thing?
I assume the patrol car video had audio unless they read lips :)
They may just have been talking a tough game but honest if one of them did something really wrong and this video came out, the lawsuit would be astronomical.

Not to mention the Mark Fuhrman possibility if they wind up involved in a high profile case with a black defendant. No good comes from that.
Where is that “conversation” liberals keep talking about? If their side can spout off name-calling and threats and slander of all whites with impunity, with “understanding” and “listening”, how is this much different? Honestly.
So when the police say it - it’s disgusting and they need to be fired.
When BLM says it they’re heroic and need to be celebrated.
Were they REALLY zeroing in on “black people”, or are they, like a lot of us, just suck and tired of ALL the idiots out there acting like animals and destroying everything?
But screaming ‘kill the pigs’ or ‘cook them like bacon’ is just hunky dory as always. This omni directional retribution will end up coming to a messy end at some point.

This was a no brainer for the Department.
Had one of these guys had an excessive use of force or a questionable shoot, the Department would be in deep trouble.
Good point you are making there about equal treatment in the firing department.
ALL of their arrests would then be under scrutiny and there may be hundreds by that point.
I said more stupid things when I was young...but the whole planet wasn’t covered in cameras and audio equipment then.
I’m sure this was to be their livelihood but now they will have to make other plans.
Heck of a thing to have on your resume though.

If a cop on duty began to scream ‘kill the pigs’ I’m guessing he would get fired.

It’s hard to not be human sometimes though and make stupid mistakes.
These 3 kids, maybe 15, rode their bikes right through a red light while I had the green and I almost hit them.
I yelled at them and they said “drive slower!!”
What i said back can’t be printed here but I would be in trouble with about 8 different groups if it was recorded :)
I felt bad very shortly afterwords because they looked horrified and I’m not into scaring kids.
I didn’t make a single threat but I called them things that they might have had to look up.
I tried to find them and apologize but they were gone already.
It was stupid. And in the blink of an eye your life can be ruined these days.
But they were basically good boys, and in the middle of turning their lives around!
