I’m all in favor. Just be smart about it. We got our first rare earths mine and processing plant reopened recently. Repatriate pharmaceuticals and medical equipment as well as any defense components next. Once that’s done, keep steadily jacking up those tariffs. We need to make sure they cannot do serious damage to us by suddenly halting the export of anything vital. Then, go for it in earnest.

China must have a trade deal with the U. S. In the past the trading has always been in China’s best interest to the detriment of our interest. President Trump has changed the rules by not allowing China to dictate the rules. President Trump knows when to hold em, he knows when to fold em, and he knows when to walk away. We are in good hands.
