Down the line in this thread is a post about the fact Americans, including most Freepers, now have no knowledge of the natural law roots of our Constitution. Nor do politicians or lawyers . But Natural law is perceived by all humans in all cultures. It is “written on the human heart”.
I agree with the poster that lawyers don’t know about it. Having known myself about the natural law prior to attending law school and finding that nothing about Natural Law was taught,I asked to do a required substantial paper on the subject.It is a jeweĺ of human thought
I have also thought, as did the poster referred to above, that we need to teach people about that subject and history.
One thing everyone should know are the basics. 1.Good is to be done and evil avoided. Examples of good would be 1.
preserve life. 2. Pursue knowledge. 3. Have a family and many others.
The good which over arches all specific goods is Freedom.
I would like to suggest that one way to introduce oneself to the natural inclination of all to recognize and know the Natural Law can be found in the C.S. Lewis book, Abolition of Man, especially the adds at the end of the book.
I have read and reread the posts on here after an election.
And without fail we are screwed over, so the roundabout is pulled out and spins again..

Secession
The trouble with secession is China. The West and America in particular needs to be unified against this determined foe. The enemy has already murdered thousands of Americans with a virus and used it to install their fake President. Any foe willing to kill millions of uninvolved people all over the world just to seize power in America is unrelentingly evil.
I don’t disagree, we do need to be unified.
But the Democrats have decided that the unification must be under their rule at all cost. They have chosen to force all of us to live under their will.
They have usurped power by deceit.
If we are to remain unified under present circumstances we will be unified by falsehoods, we will be unified under coercion and force of arms.
If I am to be put in to bondage I would prefer to be enslaved after I make the effort to live as a free man.
