Swordmaker I don’t want Hijack Your Thread but would like to ask for some HELP !!!
iPhone 6sPlus got drowned by the Grandson and will not Function at ALL. Can’t get it Charged or connected to iTunes or the Laptop. I’ve downloaded multiple Recovery Programs and not connecting to any of them.
I have a bad feeling that I am Screwed !!!
Anybody have any input on what to do next ?
I DO NOT have any Backups anywhere. Yes I know I’m stupid for not having a Backup but what’s done (or undone) is done.
I have a buttload of Pics, Contacts, Notes and Voice Recordings that I would like to recover if possible.
Thank You in advance.
Swordmaker- I just copied the Folks from Your Ping in Post 2.
HELP !!!
See My Post 5 Please for details.
Ma, your best bet is to put your iphone in a bag of rice for a couple of days. If you have an old gas oven with a pilot light, put the bag in the oven and let the pilot light heat help dry it out. Then try charging it. . . If it will charge, quickly back it up to your computer as there is no guaranty how long it will keep working. Back up photos to your Photos app first, the rest, such as emails are most likely still on the email server.
Ive heard you can also put your iphone in a vacuum sealer bag and use a food vacuum sealer to pump out the air. This will cause the water in the phone to turn to vapor and be removed as the pressure drops. I dont know if this will damage any other components, though.
Freeper mabarker1s grandson dunked her iphone6s in water and its now non-functional.
She has lots of family photos and other unbacked-up data that may be unretrievable. Any ideas that have worked for you fellow Freepers would be appreciated.
