WASHINGTON (AP) — In a move applauded by President Donald Trump’s conservative religious base, his administration on Friday finalized a rule that overturns Obama-era protections for transgender people against sex discrimination in health care.
The Department of Health and Human Services said it will enforce sex discrimination protections “according to the plain meaning of the word ‘sex’ as male or female and as determined by biology.” This rewrites an Obama-era regulation that sought a broader understanding shaped by a person’s internal sense of being male, female, neither or a combination.
LGBTQ groups say explicit protections are needed for people seeking sex-reassignment treatment, and even for transgender people who need care for common illnesses such as diabetes or heart problems.

Sex discrimination in health care? If you go to a doctor and your testicles hurt,or your vagina is malfunctioning,the doctor isn’t gonna say “well,you’re a woman so there’s no need to think about testicles”...or “well,you’re a man so there’s no need for you to see a gynecologist”.

The guys says trans need health care for diabetes and health care. You will get it. How can they think just cus the government won’t pay to cut your junk off that all health care is banned. A special case of stupid!
Sex is fixed. The implicit assertion that a delusion of sexual identity is a real thing that must be recognized by the non deliusional is stupid.
There is no such thing as transgender, and so no transgender protection.
Not for Christians. A woman sued a Catholic hospital for not performing an elective, cosmetic hysterectomy on her because she claimed to “be a man.”
Reproductive assistance clinics don’t want to be forced to aid the creation of children for freaks.
