Dear Freepers,
Foremost, my apologies for the vanity post. I've been lurking on FR for the better part of two decades; with all of the ongoing chaos, I felt the need to say something.
Mr. Robinson, I am way overdue for a donation to FR.
As an American born in Cuba, I am very fortunate that this great country allowed my family and I to emigrate here; it certainly wasn't our right to live in the US, it was rather a gift from this benevolent nation.
I arrived in the 1980s, in the midst of the Reagan Era, the Pax-Reagana. I see how the US has changed since then, and not for the better; the Bush Clan-Clinton-Hussein triumvirate has indeed been pernicious.
I know how those of you who are native born Americans must feel, particularly those who lived here during the 1950s and 60s; if my country of birth had been invaded and slowly destroyed by barbarians, (and I count myself as one of those barbarians) I would be outraged too.
I've seen first hand how thoroughly effective communism is at dismantling prosperity and generating misery, if the US continues on this trajectory, what dystopia is my child going to grow up in?
In any case, the point of my blathering is this:
How do we make America great again?
I already have the guns and ammo, voting for PDJT / Donaldus Magnus in November (if his majesty Dr. Fauci allows us to vote) and have stopped buying as much Chicom-made trinkets as I can.
Short of actively confronting these leftist thugs causing all of the chaos, what is left there to do?

Train like your and/or your family’s lives depend on it. Train your family, too.
A) Pray for God's guidance and protection.
B) Repeat step "A".
Subsidiarity is an organizing principle that matters ought to be handled by the smallest, lowest or least centralized competent authority. Political decisions should be taken at a local level if possible, rather than by a central authority.
The Left is the party of the state, the party of centralized power and the party of centralized ideology. All the ideas they implement are about this, and this is what is destroying America.
With your history, I am sure that you are alarmed with what you see now in the USA. Many of us have been aware and have watched the decline over the years. This decline was interrupted by Reagan and again by Trump. But I fear the swamp is too deep and the public uneducated for things to change.

You’re doing it right now. Tell your story. And pay no attention to the nattering nabobs of negativism. They are not worth responding to and they sap your energy.
Your testimony should carry a lot of weight, since you’ve experienced the horrors of communism first-hand. Unfortunately, the Left isn’t rational. Its disciples don’t listen to experience. They continue to embrace an ideology that is the most destructive the world has ever seen. And so it is in America these days. They’re not going to stop unless we stop them. We can fight them for a while at the ballot box. But not forever. So we need to keep spreading the word and hoping our fellow citizens wake up and our politicians are held to account.

Educate yourself so as to be able to explain what is happening. The Hillsdale online free courses on the Constitution and progressivism, are an excellent resource.
Communicate these ideas with others, on freerepublic, elsewere on line, in comments on articles where you can.
The Left's biggest weapon is controlling the narrative through the media. We need to continue to take that from them.
We are much better off in that regard than we were 25 years ago.
Do not accept the premises and narratives fed to you by the Media.
Join a local group, Republican, Tea Party, Church, or gun club. Discuss with others. Make friends and connections.
Be politically active, more than voting. Help get out the vote. Volunteer. Be a precinct committeeman or woman.

These people are not people who can be reasoned with. They are not fair-minded or tolorant of others opinions. They will use Violence as soon as or whenever they can.
