Maxine Waters was out bragging years before that about how Obama had put together a database on EVERYONE.
Lawmakers keyed in on (cough) "ntl security expert" Evelyn Farkas on MSNBC on March 2, 2017, in which she urged intelligence community bureaucrats to disseminate within the government and potentially even leak to media any incriminating information they had about Trump or his aides. “I had a fear that somehow that information would disappear with the senior [Obama administration] people who left…[that] it would be hidden away in the bureaucracy,” Farkas said. She continued to build on her insinuations by suggesting Trump might destroy evidence she had lied and said existed. They might “try to compromise those sources and methods,” Farkas alleged on MSNBC.
I would’ve asked “were you lying then or are you lying now”. Not “is that how you FELT”?

Most of them were probably leakers to the media.
During her testimony, it was revealed that she wasn't even working for the government at the time she went on those shows.

Of all of them Waters is perhaps the most mentally unsuited to any task. I remember her, when she was on her "We've got him now, we'll get him with the "Emoluments Clause" but she kept tripping over the word "emolument".
Pretty sure she has zero idea what that word meant, or what it involved.
She lied about stuff she had no knowledge of. She was asked during her testimony how she knew about all that evidence she claimed was out there, and it came out that she knew nothing, because she wasn't even working for the government when she went on those shows, and spewed her lies.

Even if you are in office you can lie to the public all you want. For politicians there is a federal court case that says they can. It’s John Q. Publics’s job to catch them and not be so gullible. Just don’t lie where it’s sworn testimony, unless you’re Slick Willie.

She's mentioned five times in this recent National Review article. McCord was the Assistant Attorney General Mary McCord, the head of DOJ’s National Security Division at the time. McCord tried to play dumb regarding Flynn's calls. She never even passed the info of Flynn's phone calls on to her replacement, that's how insignificant she felt they were. Now she's trying to appear to be an expert on the legal case:

Maybe they need to revamp that oath of office they take to include that "I will not now, nor during the remaining days of my term of office, ever use false information, innuendo, or rumor, to further myself publicly, politically, and monetarily.
They should have just called them all Gladys Cratchett.

“Obama has put in place the kind of database… will have everything on every individual.”

“The President has put in place an organization with the kind of database that no one has ever seen before in life,” Representative Maxine Waters told Roland Martin on Monday.
“That’s going to be very, very powerful,” Waters said. “That database will have information about everything on every individual on ways that it’s never been done before and whoever runs for President on the Democratic ticket has to deal with that. They’re going to go down with that database and the concerns of those people because they can’t get around it. And he’s [President Obama] been very smart. It’s very powerful what he’s leaving in place.”
