The long-delayed release of testimony from the House Intelligence Committee has proved embarrassing for a variety of former Obama officials who have been extensively quoted on the allegedly strong evidence of collusion by the Trump campaign and the Russians. Figures like James Clapper, who is a CNN expert, long indicated that the evidence from the Obama Administration was strong and alarming. However, in testimony, Clapper denied seeing any such evidence. One of the most embarrassing is the testimony of Evelyn Farkas, a former Obama Administration official who was widely quoted in her plea to Congress to gather the evidence that she knew was found in by the Obama Administration. In her testimony under oath Farkas repeatedly stated that she knew of no such evidence of collusion.
Farkas, who served as the deputy assistant secretary of Defense for Russia/Ukraine/Eurasia, was widely quoted when she said on MSNBC in 2017 that she feared that evidence she knew about would be destroyed by the Trump Administration. She stated:
“was urging my former colleagues, and, frankly speaking, the people on the Hill… Get as much information as you can, get as much intelligence as you can, before President Obama leaves the administration, because I had a fear that somehow that information would disappear with the senior people that left. So it would be hidden away in the bureaucracy . . . the Trump folks, if they found out how we knew what we knew about their, the staff, the Trump staff’s dealing with Russians, that they would try to compromise those sources and methods, meaning we would no longer have access to that intelligence. So I became very worried, because not enough was coming out into the open, and I knew that there was more.”

Take this story and note that 2000 former DOJ employees filed a complaint about the Flynn dismissal and consider where they got their information from except from the constant stream of lies being perpetrated 24/7 on most of the major news. That would be considered polluting the jury pool of public opinion. These clowns need be exterminated.

Either Farkas was told to come quasi-clean, or she decided the risk was the same whether or not she did it -- if she were picked by the Soetero cadre as the fall guy/girl, she wouldn't survive long in prison.

Either the article is poorly written, or Gowdy just didn’t do his job and follow up the question, “Well, then why would you say, we knew?” I was let down by not hearing her answer to why she lied on MSDNC!

It wasn’t just Farkas, they were ALL lying, on TV, day after day, night after night, when they knew they had nothing.
On March 2, 2017 she was on MSNBC and Farkas told Mika Brezinski about her role in the efforts to collect intelligence on Trump’s team, and their alleged ties with Russia, in the Obama adminstration’s final days.
“...I was urging my former colleagues and, frankly speaking, the people on the Hill… get as much information as you can,” Farkas said, adding that her big fear was “if [Trump staffers] found out how we knew what we knew about their … the Trump staff dealing with Russians — that they would try to compromise those sources and methods, meaning we no longer have access to that intelligence.” At the end of the interview, Farkas said, “we have good intelligence on Russia … that’s why you have the leaking. People are worried..."
It was a deliberate and coordinated lie, meant to stoke the flames of the Russian Hoax. It did, however have two side effects: First (and this was noted by Dan Bongino at the time) it CONFIRMED that the Obama Administration had been spying with the excerpt "...if [Trump staffers] found out how we knew what we knew about their … the Trump staff dealing with Russians — that they would try to compromise those sources and methods, meaning we no longer have access to that intelligence..."
Even though this unintentional reveal got ZERO footage at the time since the media not only didn't notice it, but if they had, they wouldn't have disseminated it.
And remember, this is only a little more than a month after Trump took office. If a scummy turd like Evelyn Farkas knew they Trump campaign was being spied on, how my other Leftist turds in that administration knew there was spying going on?
ANSWER: A lot. And the good thing about that is, the more people who have to keep a secret, the less likely it is to be kept.
But secondly, it DID have the beneficial side effect of forcing her, when asked under oath, to deny there was any evidence that justified it. Much better to see her swing, but having her forehead branded with the blue "L" symbol officially is a consolation prize I will take.
