A Tragedy is Unfolding
The New York Times ^ | April 9, 2020 | Annie Correal and Andrew Jacobs

Anil Subba, a Nepali Uber driver from Jackson Heights, Queens, died just hours after doctors at Elmhurst Hospital thought he might be strong enough to be removed from a ventilator.

In the nearby Corona neighborhood, Edison Forero, 44, a restaurant worker from Colombia, was still burning with fever when his housemate demanded he leave his rented room, he said.

Not far away in Jackson Heights, Raziah Begum, a widow and nanny from Bangladesh, worries she will be ill soon. Two of her three roommates already have the symptoms of Covid-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus. Everyone in the apartment is jobless, and they eat one meal a day, she said.

“We are so hungry, but I am more terrified that I will get sick,” said Ms. Begum, 53, who has diabetes and high blood pressure.

Agree.

New York should be entirely shut down until not one Wu Flu patient remains.

The rest of us, however, choose to stand by and watch a formerly great state complete the progressives descent into the life of three centuries ago.

Please, oh please.

Posted this video earlier:

Long video but worth the watch. In it, the Doctor states that 80%-90% of the people that go on to a ventilator are so far gone that they will die so this is certainly not a surprise.

Queens is one of the MOST diverse areas in the country, with huge integration problems. They all still speak of their homeland as “My Country”, rarely Aemrica.

Filthy. dirty NYC, and filthy dirty 3rd worlders get together, in a totally corrupt and defective health care system (Elmhurst Hospital) with yuuge monetary incentives to NOT provide inexpensive treatment like the Hydroxy Combo, but plug em all into Only-to-Koomo-non-existent ventilators and watch em die.

Pol Pot couldn’t dream up such a killing machine.

Densely packed mega cities where people are highly dependent on densely packed public transportation systems hit hardest.

Plenty of us Conservatives in New York, just like there are plenty of Liberals in Deep Red States..... Beaches were packed in California yesterday, and that’s about as Liberal a State as you can get..... A lot more New Yorkers going outside, a lot more cars on the road..... This story from The New York Times is doomsday porn designed to scare people as the death and hospitalization rates go down.... But if you want all New Yorkers to suffer, because you don’t like the politics of the majority, I guess that’s your right

Jackson Heights is among the most diverse neighborhoods in New York City and the nation. Half of the population was foreign born by the 2000s.[9] Jackson Heights is home to large numbers of South Americans (particularly Colombian, Ecuadorian and Argentinian), Indians, Pakistanis, Tibetans, Nepalese, and Bangladeshis. Most businesses are Asian- and Latino-owned, and there are restaurants, bakeries, specialty shops, legal offices, bars, and beauty salons. There is a Little India on 74th Street and a Little Pakistan and Little Bangladesh on 73rd Street.[80] There is also a large concentration of South Americans east of 77th Street, especially a Little Colombia along 37th Avenue.[80]

Jackson Heights was heavily Colombian during the 1980s, but other immigrant groups have settled in the area, notably Mexicans. Many of the displaced Colombians have moved to adjacent areas such as Elmhurst, East Elmhurst, Corona, College Point and Flushing. Queens County still has the largest concentration of Colombians in the United States of any county (roughly 135,000).

People are calling some of the situation in NY murder. Choosing to not use the proper procedures to make them well.

What is Nepali Uber?

Does it cost different from regular Uber?

a Nepali Uber driver... a restaurant worker from Colombia...a widow and nanny from Bangladesh... The neighborhoods also have large communities of Indian, Bangladeshi, Chinese, Filipino and Nepali people, and a score of other ethnicities that have been devastated by the pandemic.

As usual, the NYT works diligently to divide us. Any sympathy they have for victims is strictly reserved for immigrants and minorities. As far as the NYT is concerned, dead white people is a good thing, and just adds to the democrat voting rolls.
