Stadiums are the best place in the weight to have social distancing. Put 4 or 5 empty stadium seats between every drinker and open the kegs.

Oh yeah... tape off 3 out of every 4 urinals. Can’t have the virus jumping you in the john.

I believe that is correct insofar as lengthening shelf life, but there is a limit even to refrigerated beer. The alcoholic content is simply insufficient to prevent a long-term breakdown. Most wines and hard liquor are, of course, a different story.

As long as it stays refrigerated it’ll be fine.

As a craft beer home brewer I can tell you that is not the case. Beer will usually start to break down within 3-4 months of storage. Higher ABV beers will be ok a bit longer but will still go bad eventually.

Unless of course you like bad tasting beer. Then all bets are off!

Brewers and keg owners are hoping to regain their containers - which can run $100 to $120 apiece - in case they get wrapped up in bankruptcy proceedings.

In case the beer does expire, Samuel Adams owner Boston Beer Co plans to do their continued plan of recapturing its ethanol for gasoline.

New York brewers Montauk Brewing Co. and AB InBev-owned Blue Point Brewing Co. are switching their packaging, putting more beer in cans to sell in liquor or grocery

The distiller, The Better Man Distilling Co., is using the beer to make sanitizer.

People drink Bud Light. Some with that fake lime stuff. Bad beer is alive and well!

Not true. Piss samples have to go the lab within 24 hours of being refrigerated.

Are they asking for volunteers to sample it to make sure it’s still good?.

Seeing perfectly good things go to waste offends me greatly.

I share your sentiment. I find this especially egregious with food. My wife gives me some sideways glances when I heat up leftovers for a week, but I just cannot bring myself to throw away food unless it is absolutely necessary due to spoilage, but I rarely if ever allow it to get to that point. With greens such as spinach, cucumbers and celery; I will freeze it for a green smoothie. I think my grandparents, who lived through the great depression, have influenced my adult habit of avoiding food waste.

Has this guy been trying to drink all of the excess.
Or is he using common core math.
Kegs weigh less empty obviously but kegs are still the same size. Unless I’m missing something like new crushable kegs.

‘This is a hot potato because none of our businesses are set up to return massive amounts of beer,’ shared Dan Vorlage, marketing head for Denver-based MicroStar Logistics LLC. ‘It takes three times as many trucks to transport full kegs than empty ones.’

Issue the new Covus 19 income supplements in optional beer coupons which can be used to buy beer at discount.

Lots of that extra income is gonna be used to buy beer anyway.
