The beer industry has been left daunted as it tries to determine what to do with the millions of gallons of beer that is destined to go stale at the country's stadiums, concert halls, restaurants and bars. With major events like St. Patrick's Day and March Madness cancelled because of the coronavirus, beer has been wasting away behind locked doors. Yep. If anything, Trump should have used the DPA to get millions more growlers manufactured by now!

Or roll those kegs into the packed parking lots of the local Wally World and sell them for a nickel a cup, about what it costs to manufacture the stuff without the taxes. The cops could even hang out and some hiding places on the roads out and generate some revenue for the state (and the legal profession) for all those buzzed drivers. Said revenue could go back into generating more stimulus payments.

One million kegs of beer on the wall,
One million kegs of beer,
You take one down and pass it around,
Nine hundred and ninety nine thousand
nine hundred and ninety nine kegs of beer on the wall.
(this is gonna take a while)

1 IS ALL IT TAKES.

Seriously why weren’t breweries put to work producing clean water and 16 oz Saline solutions that could be dumped in a IV bag. Since the SWINE FLU IV’S have gone from a few $$ to $400-700 a unit. And always in short supply.

Give it away before it goes bad.

I was thinking the same thing. At least sell it at a discount to the retail market. I am sure individual buyers would be willing to take it off their hands, and I am saying this as a non-drinking "teetotaler".

Then again; perhaps having to simply dispose of the unsold beer is more advantageous from an income tax perspective(?)

I don’t drink either.

Seeing perfectly good things go to waste offends me greatly.

There was a bar near my brother’s college campus that held twenty-five cent draft nights.

Those will probably be making a comeback.
