But it also highlighted Obama’s challenge of trying to cut a 9.7 percent jobless rate that has fueled voter discontent.
The report said the package of stimulus spending and tax cuts “clearly halted an economic freefall.” Obama will get the document at his economic intelligence briefing on Wednesday and he will speak about the economy to mark the anniversary of his signing of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act at 10.25 a.m. (1525 GMT).

What the media did not report about the Obama “recovery” was that a significant reduction in the unemployment numbers was not because people found jobs, but was due to people dropping out of the workforce and living on government handouts.
Obama simultaneously claimed economic victory pointing at the unemployment numbers AND reveled in the fact that his food stamp programs were running at their highest levels ever. Naturally, the media never called him on it.
Also, hussein changed the definition of a job to include part time jobs.
I was just going to post that very fact. That is what is so miraculous about the Trump economy is the number of people in the workforce. Not the false low ER of Obozo where millions dropped out of the work force.
Yeah, especially with those “shovel-ready jobs” that never existed.

If I recall correctly 7/10ths of the Stimulus program “disappeared” and was not able to be accounted for. Since from this article Biden was in charge of the money, it is a clue.
