A woman who was allegedly trying to help her husband during a fight was arrested after police say she stabbed the man her husband was fighting.
Morgaine Huey, 22, was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail Monday for investigation of aggravated assault.
About 9 p.m., police say Hueys husband got into a fight with another man near 2200 S. Highland Drive. (She) stated her husband was getting hurt and appeared to be losing the fight, according to a police affidavit.
Thats when a witness observed Huey pull an object out and stab the victim, causing him to fall to the ground. (Huey) denied pulling a knife or stabbing the victim, the affidavit states.
Police believe a screwdriver was used in the attack. The victim was taken to a local hospital where he underwent surgery. Salt Lake police detective Greg Wilking said Tuesday the mans condition was not considered to be life-threatening.
My kind of woman.
Never take a wife to a knife fight.
lol
I dated a gal that saw 3 guys attack me and she threw down :)
Off duty cop put an end to things relatively quickly.
Which was good since I had lasik surgery about a week before :)
“You can’t lose with me honey.”
What’s her FR nick?
Just out of curiosity — did she start the trouble?
If the other guy started the fight, she was justified.
The husband best not forget her next birthday or Anniversary!
“What?!....What do you mean you ‘forgot’....AGAIN???”
“Come’On, Baby Doll! You know how this Virus has got everybody stressed out. I lost track of the calendar..and..
Why are you rinsing off the Carving Knives all of a sudden?”
A woman like that is a keeper.
A buddy of mine was a fighter back in the day. He was brawling it out with a guy who grabbed a bat and was whacking him, when all of a sudden he got up and was getting position to start fighting again and the guy took off! Turned around to see his wife pointing a .357 at the perp.
“Morgaine Huey”
Is her brother “Ro”?
Who knew a woman knew how to use a screwdriver? Will wonders never cease?
A young woman in our small town was in a similar situation where an acquaintance was fighting her husband. She grabbed a beer bottle and hit the guy over the head. Two days later he died from brain swelling/bleed.
Was she charged?
Plus she must be handy. Not many women carry a screwdriver in their purses.
She may beat the attempted manslaughter charge, but as to her violating the social-distancing edict of the governor ...
I guess it would depend upon who started the fight
Flat head or Phillips?
/sinister chuckle
