RIVER VALE, NJ A River Vale 7-Eleven owner was arrested Tuesday after she allegedly sold sanitzer that burned children.
Manisha Bharade was hit with four counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Four boys were burned. One mother shared pictures of her son on social media as a warning to parents.
Bharade allegedly mixed commercially available foaming sanitizer, which was not meant for resale, and water. Fourteen bottles were sold. Five bottles were turned over to police. Officers said nine bottles are unaccounted for.
Many have been making their own version of sanitzer amid coronavirus-related shortages.

Get a rope!
Curious as to why the kid thought he had to bath his arms in sanitizer.
Stupid, all of them
I am curious. The guy took a commercially available sanitizer and he diluted it with water. And that turned it into a Weapon of Mass Destruction?
And we let them into our country. First as H1B trash, then once they get their green card, their entire family and backwards culture
Walmart now has hand sanitizer back in stock by me. 98 cents.

Get with the madness dude! It was not for resale!
Was the sanitizer meant for skin, or or cleaning toilets, etc., with tools, rubber gloves, etc.? Lots of skin products warn of irritation to skin for some people.
The irony is that they thought they were buying a “sanitizier”; but it had been tampered with and probably could not be considered “sanitary” even if it had not caused burns.
Around here, we use soap and water. Never a problem!
Could it be hysteria
One source says the damaging ingredients were octyl decyl dimethyl ammonium chloride and dioctyl dimethyl ammonium chloride.
Not to be messed with.
that’s exactly what i was wondering-
looks like maybe this sanitizer was meant not just for no resale, but also not for human skin contact- looks morel iek maybe it was meant just for surfaces like countertops, floors etc- perhaps?
The other 9 bottles were used to remove the paint from a 1973 Buick with no ill effects.
Sounds like india where some merchants refill bottled water from the tap and pass it off on the unwary.
I think these are called quaternary disinfectants. Usually used in medical situations and sometimes commercial food service.
Theres an endless supply of 95% or 99+% ethanol available, along with an endless supply of glycerin, from biofuels production.
