“Favorite player” nowadays is somewhat of an oxymoron in my mind as the VAST majority are pompous, self righteous, insufferable loudmouths.
A few are what we used to call “role models” but that list is extremely short.
I’m sorry when any tragedy occurs to anyone but will save my heartfelt eulogies for the very few left in the sports world that are worthy of them.

Not if he filed IFR. Helicopters can be IFR. It would seem very weird that he would go through a cloud bank on the ground as the images are showing.

for what its worth TMZ was the first to report michael jackson had died and had it long before anyone else...they seem to have great sources in LA.
