Juan Williams should have kept his mouth shut…(about Trump)

Juan Williams – Trump was wrong to attend March for Life rally because, ‘it divides the country’

______

Williams pointed to polling which he claimed shows 60 percent of Americans believe abortion “should be legal in all or most cases,” as he noted that he finds it “incredible” that the media provides “equal coverage” to the pro-choice and pro-life marches.

“Fifty-eight percent of Americans say they are dissatisfied with the nation’s policies on abortion, marking a seven-percentage-point increase from one year ago and a new high in Gallup’s trend. On the flip side, 32% are now satisfied, a new low,” the report indicated.

“They say they’re not happy right now with abortion laws in the country. That’s where the energy and the passion’s coming from,” Williams told his co-hosts before going on to condemn Trump for disregarding that divide.

“But to me, when I see the president do this, you know, as someone who’s been around awhile, I saw Ronald Reagan. Ronald Reagan didn’t do this. George W. Bush, his dad [George H.W. Bush], none of them did it,” Williams said. “Why does Donald Trump think that this is good? It divides the country.”

He should be quiet about anything. But, typical lib that will NOT change his mind. Sort of like I won’t change mine. :-)

The tide is clearly turning on the most important subject of politics- life

Life of the unborn

Life of the elderly

Life of the handicapped

Life of the infirm

Life of the mute , the deaf and the blind

Compassion for all human beings

When sex is treated as a commodity and cheapened , so goes the nation

When marriage is pilloried and subjugated to the interests of the licentious, a nation is doomed

Pregnancy does not occur by action or act of God

We must start there and then of course , when the baby is conceived Do our dead level best to help the woman understand that that life she is creating a special and precious !

and that child and son or daughter will touch her and many many ways for the rest of her life on this planet!

Thank God for our wonderful president , who understands all of this and is fighting for those that have no voice

"Juan Williams never stops being a low grade human being."

Really stretching it to even use the words "human being" in any description of Juan... Snicker...

Probably because the poll excluded 100% of those who've been aborted.

Juan Williams is a token lefty on Fox News.

When directly confronted by Jesse Waters on The Five, he becomes what he truly is:

The Village Idiot of Fox News.

His idiocy is now on FULL DISPLAY.

I hope they keep him on there. Everyone needs to see how idiotic the Dems and their ideas are.

Marie Harf is another,,,complete ding bat.

I think they need to separate Juan from Jesse on “The Five”. There’ll be a fist fight one of these days.

You must remember that Juan Williams is PAID to take the side of issues that he takes. Seems like I remember when he left (got kicked out of) PBS, that FOX paid him like $7,000,000 to come to Fox. I’m sure that Fox would be displeased if he just praised Trump.

Running for reelection divides the country. The existence of two political parties divides the country. What a jackass. Flashback:

Of course it divides the country ... between decent people and utter creeps. But Juan shouldn’t care, because he knows that diversity is our strength.

Another Man Who Worked At NPR Had Been Accused of Serial Sexual Harassment

By Melina Delkic -- 11/2/17

SEXUAL HARASSMENT NPR THE WASHINGTON POST

The same radio network that suspended its top news director this week for years of sexual harassment allegations once hired a controversial Washington Post writer whose history of sexual harassment allegations was well known.

Juan Williams, 63, joined National Public Radio in 2000, working first as the host of Talk of the Nation and later as a senior national correspondent, despite being at the center of a widely reported sexual harassment scandal at The Washington Post a decade earlier. Williams now works for Fox News as an analyst.

Post newsroom employees said that Williams had, for years, commented on their bodies, asked them about their sex lives, and said things that were "lewd" and "shocking." Nancy McKeon, then the features editor of the Post Magazine, told Newsweek she remembers Williams asking women, "Did your heels hit the ceiling last night?" and saying, "Now there's a chair I'd like to sniff" when one employee stood up from her seat.

The comments were known and were even covered by the Washington Post at the time. But NPR hired Williams anyway.

"This is ancient," Williams said when Newsweek reached out to him. When asked if the allegations were true, he declined to answer.

The Williams case, resurfacing in the days after NPR fired news director Michael Oreskes for allegedly harassing women when he worked at the radio network and, before that, at the New York Times, raises questions about how difficult it is to root out harassment even when there are many allegations against an offender.

"As a matter of policy, we do not comment about personnel matters," an NPR spokesperson said in an email, declining to specify whether NPR knew about the allegations against Williams.

• Williams was not fired by The Post when the allegations were revealed in 1991. Fifty female employees met with then-Executive Editor Leonard Downie Jr. to object to the newspaper's lack of transparency surrounding what disciplinary measures it had taken. Yet Williams was eventually hired by NPR.

'He was like a serial shocker'

The features editor of the Post Magazine Nancy McKeon who worked with Williams in the late 1980s, warned him several times during her tenure to "stop talking to these young girls like that" and that he'd "have a problem" if he continued. After one art director stood up from her chair, McKeon said she remembers Williams saying, "Now there's a chair I'd like to sniff."

McKeon said she still thinks about Williams's lewd behavior, and regrets not doing more to stop him. "I have a feeling that a lot of us thought we had the best intentions, and thought we were doing enough, but it all fell short of the mark," she said. "I blame myself."

What is he doing on Fox News?

I can’t believe some of what is said sometimes.

So then, a president taking a position on an issue, counter to the liberal view, is “divisive”???? And he will cite public opinion polls of some sort???

If those are the criteria, then Obama was very divisive in many of his actions. If the issue is being divisive, no politician would pass muster with the likes of Juan Williams.
