Down to 8 pretty good teams. Unfortunately in each game one pretty good team lies down or doesn't show up. Baltimore should be in the Super Bowl and they didn't seem to even try. Minnesota was never in it. Injuries are too big a factor Seattle will have no offensive line going against 2 excellent players on the GB defensive line. Russell Wilson could still pull it out but after16/17 games I think too many teams just give up from exhaustion. It seems to happen year after year.
Studio football some people think it is real.
I’m just happy the Patriots are done. Go Chiefs!
Usually this is actually the worst week of football. The teams with the bye win 3/4 of the time for good reasons: they’re generally better, and they got rest. Baltimore’s dismantling is a shock, mostly because this week generally goes like the Niners-Vikes game, the top team is the top for a reason, and they beat the snot out of the Wild Card survivor without breaking a sweat. The Ravens game changed everything though. I never trust Reid in the playoffs, and Seattle are a great road team this year, with the Pack struggling to beat anybody. Could be a 1-3 week for the home teams.
Thinking of changing by screenie to SFNiner....
Just kidding. Im a Denver Bronco fan to the core.
Until ALL NFL players stand in front of the cameras for our National Anthem, then my “favorite football weekend” ended, unfortunately, when OSU lost to Clemson.
And until they do, I’ll watch something else.
In Mahomes we Trust.
“Studio football some people think it is real.”
Weird. Just weird.
The bye has an awful lot to do with it. not fair. Maybe the players just know it. Minnesota had to fly and had 6 days to prepare while the 49ers had 13.
Then there’s the hit Carson Went took. Cheap shot. Season is over if a qb goes down.
Minnesoda is not known as the “Land of 10,000 Excuses” for no reason.
Browns just hired Stefanski for their new head coach.
About time us Polish-Americans were represented!
Is this the Rooney-ski Rule?
It’s Polak.
Pack is 13-3 duh
Tak!
The Wildcard Road is just too demanding.
Seattle loses to Green Bay.
Than Green Bay travels to San Francisco to be punished for it.
And only punishment awaits those who play a healthy Niners team. Only punishment.

An otherwise legal hit.
I saw that play yesterday and didn’t see where it was a cheap shot..oh well, the refs saw otherwise.
That said, it is stunning how many haters post to these threads. I think it's because the Sport is bigger than the players...just like we didn't dislike America when Obama as president. Indeed, all you need to do is listen to George Carlin's 'Baseball vs Football' bit to understand why haters keep posting to football threads.
In football the object is for the quarterback, also known as the field general, to be on target with his aerial assault, riddling the defense by hitting his receivers with deadly accuracy in spite of the blitz, even if he has to use the shotgun. With short bullet passes and long bombs, he marches his troops into enemy territory, balancing this aerial assault with a sustained ground attack that punches holes in the forward wall of the enemy's defensive line.
In baseball the object is to go home! And to be safe! I hope I'll be safe at home!
The hit was forward of his shoulder.
And was legal.
Unnecessarily punishing?
And BOTH are linemen.
I say there’s no such thing.
