She said that almost all of the American flags in any park are missing a star and a stripe, because 'otherwise they couldn't be flown permanently.'

Daily Mail doesn’t like my ad blocker, so eff em.
So, they create double the waste by being green?...................
Try mine, they never complain..............
Ghostery and uBlock................
I give them credit for at least taking time to read the US Flag Code.
Almost nobody does. The flag shall not be used as a part of any athletic uniform? HA! I see that all the time.
They have at least one flag in each park that is an American Flag, most of the rest is bunting and streamers. A few stars and some stripes. And I do believe there is a regular flag at the Hall of Presidents and in the American Adventure.
Here is a fun fact!
If you work for Disney and are seen by the public, you are a cast member. Even if you sweep.
Therefore, you audition for that cast position every 6 months. That gives Disney the option of not hiring you, if you have been with them too long, or begin to lose that ‘Disney Look’.
No retires at Disney! How fun is that?!
Also Disney World is legally incorporated as a self-governing borough in the State of Florida. The only people who live there are the ones Disney allows to live there. So only Disney-approved candidates ever get elected to office there.
Plus as a political subdivision they are eligible for state and local grant money. It’s a zip-id-dee-doo-dah Banana Republic I tell ya!

Yeah, I used to read them all the time; one of my favorite sources of info. But since they started the new policy, I’ve skipped them.
Balloon daycare - because balloons are only dangerous to Animal Kingdom animals and not to any of the wildlife anywhere else.
How many trees has Disney chopped down and killed just to swap out paper straws for plastic straws? Think of the baby birds killed when their nesting trees were felled. How about all the insects living in those trees.
Sure, a Disney barber shop is so much in demand for families on vacation. $100+ to get into the park and then pay for the hair cut. Too many rides, so little time. Plenty of time for a haircut though.
Yup. And they have their own police, fire and other services. Local and state can not come on property without permission. That includes state inspectors.
Actual Mickie Mouse cops.
They have some tough cops...
Another fact. When Disney World opened in Florida, the local unions fought with Disney to lower their wages!
Disney had come out from California where standard entertainment union wages were the highest in the country. Florida unions saw this as disruptive to the status quo and made The Mouse come down a bit.
Back in 1970 long hair hippie types were not allowed to enter Disneyland.
None of the information in this article is a secret.
And the girl is an ex-Disney employee, because she has to return to college. She hopes to return next year.
The hippies would drop acid and ride the “small world” ride all day. Lol.
Yes, all of this ‘insider information’ is intended to promote Disney World. Somehow I guess Disney’s PR department put the Daily Mail in touch with this girl and suggested the article.
For later.
I worked there back in the 70s. :)
