Started to notice a few weeks back, subtle comments and opinion that seem to be tarnishing his once stellar and staunch conservative persona. Today he stood shoulder to shoulder with Ken Starr's ridiculous assessment of the damage today's hearing had on Trump.
Yeah I noticed the drift to the dark side.
After the full day of testimony Ken Starr’s earlier statement not sounding too bright either.
the actor?
After the Republicans got a chance to cross examine all that changed.
Problem with these morons is they are so easily spun.
They rush to get out to the mic based on the Democrat Fascist Party spin. They should know better then to opine before the cross. The cross is totally destroying the Democrat Fascist party spin each day.
I’m an uneducated deplorable. I am smart enough to know you wait for ALL the testimony before making a judgement.
I noticed the same thing about Ken Starr. I think he’s going soft in the cranium in his old age. McCarthy always HAS been a Never Trumper, hasn’t he? IMHO he only made some conservative sounding squeaks lately in hopes of selling his book to gullible conservatives. I never fell for it.
Sondland is a Republican. The GOP wants Trump out as bad as the ‘Rats. McCarthy is just doing what the GOP wants him to do. Just like Sondland.
Andrew McCarthy, not Kevin?
Did you actually listen today?
I believe Ken Starr has already walked back that earlier comment.
I suppose you’re going to tell me the GOP is “behind the President 100%.”
Yes Andrew. Not Kevin. Rush loves the guy too.

+++++
My take as well. It looked like there were two kinds evidence presented:
1. Here is what I think everyone is thinking and so I think so to.
2. Here is what Trump told me when I asked him.
The subject is Quid Pro Quo and related. It seems to me that 2 is way, way, way more important than 1. The MSM wont agree with that assessment but to any thinking person it should be obvious.
I think McCarthy and Starr got suckered like a lot of people did. Simply put, the story did not match the headline.
The opening statement was a bombshell.
The testimony soon blew apart and even contradicted the opening statement.
Sondlands statement: It was understood that there was a quid pro quo. Everyone just knew that if a statement was made by Zelensky, then and only then would he be given a White House meeting and the aid released.
Later on: Oh, yeah and Trump called and said he wanted nothing from Zelensky, no quid pro quo. And ummm, yeah, the aid was released, no meeting occurred and there was no statement by Zelensky about Burisma.
“I noticed the same thing about Ken Starr.”
Ken Starr refused to investigate the Vince Foster affair. That settles it for me.
Andy was dragged kicking and screaming to Trump’s side.
He’s never been comfortable with Trump. He has deep roots with a lot of the lawyers who have been biting at Trump’s ankles for years.
The evidence of a set-up of Trump was too much for him to ignore, but he’s no friend.
