We already know that having sex not only feels spectacular, but it’s ridiculously good for your health, too. It boosts your immune system, protects from certain cancers, relieves stress, improves your mood, and helps you sleep better.
And now, thanks to a new study, we also know that it protects you from heart attacks and keeps your ticker in tip-top shape, so clearly, sex truly is a win-win activity and is definitely nature's best medicine.
For the study, researchers tracked 1,165 men between the ages of 40 and 70 for an average of 16 years, and analyzed their health history in order to understand the relationship between sexual activity and cardiovascular health.
The research discovered that the men who had the most sex had the lowest risk of developing cardiovascular disease, and to get into more specifics, those who had sex two to three times per week were 45 percent less likely to have heart problems than those who only got it on once a month.
This study is particularly noteworthy because the researchers took factors like overall health, blood pressure, and whether the men were smokers or not into consideration, and the results still proved that sex alone is a factor powerful enough to reduce the risk of heart disease.

I asked my Doc. He said it was OK to have sex so long as we don't enjoy it.
Men aged 40-70 who are having sex twice a week are most likely enjoying a stable marriage, of which there are many health benefits.
I imagine its not because of the exercise of sex, but rather, the depression of those who don’t have it increases their death rates.
