It boggles my mind that ANYONE - who cherishes their privacy - still uses Google as their primary or secondary search engine. I strongly encourage you to check out Duck Duck Go...you won't be let down.

They have been my search engine for years. Love their service, don’t love the name

Stupid name for a limited search engine and very limited results. Found site totally useless every time I try a search. Heck, it does not even list my company, which is top of Google and Bing results.

DDG is fine. But I’ve found that Yippy.com is even more secure. Not a single cookie. And their new image search is pretty sweet.

I use startpage.com because DuckDuckGo is funding our enemies.

Made the switch to FireFox and DDG two years ago and never happier.

It is my default search engine. But, it doesn’t always give me enough of the right type of results. Neither does google. Google is, sadly, my back-up plan. I found bing to be so unhelpful that it isn’t worth even typing in my address bar.

Searx is another alternative. Duck Duck is my homepage though.

Only use Google if a Duck search has no results.

I’ve been using it quite a while now and like it.
IF one wants to see the difference for themselves, just do a search for a controversial (conservative) issue using google, and then do the exact, same search using Duck Duck Go. Yeah, there is no doubt IMHO that google is hand-in-hand and towing the line with the communists.
