I received word from 2ndDivisionVet wife that he passed away.
I am not using his real name here out of respect but, will ping his handle and his wife can if she would like.
I didn't ask what he died from but, knowing him for better than 10 years, I knew of medical conditions and a few terrible Operations he had.
He was a wonderful human being who cared deeply for his fellow Americans and the ideals that make this country so great that people the world over want to come here and be free, live in liberty and be whoever they want
If you have ever spoke with 2ndDivisionVet, you know he was quick witted and wry.
What had always amazed me about him was not just his humor but, his ability to somehow take life in stride despite all he endured and be cheerfull.
He was amazingly resourceful in scouring the web for article we might find interesting.
Yes, 2ndDivisionVet really cared about all of us and our presence in his life gave him purpose
I really wish God had let him stay but, my thoughts are more selfish than the absolute knowledge that he is in a better place.
I hope to see him again one day.
Rest in peace and smile down on us 2ndDivisionVet
He was one of the best Americans I have known in this website...
I will sadly miss his knowledge and caring for issues which effected us as fellow citizens of this the greatest country in the world..
I sang God Bless America this morning at church...I’m a veteran but now its the least I can do for my country...
I love God, I love America and I love and am thankful for people like this good man who gave us all so much of his wisdom and patriotism...
May God heal the broken hearts of his family at this time, in the lovely Name of Jesus...
I exchanged a few texts with him over the years. I enjoyed his posts and the dogged determination he had to let everyone know about job creation during Trump’s presidency.
He will be missed.
God Bless you 2DV. R.I.P.
I had no idea that he was that ill! A warrior till the end!
Can you post on of his comments so as to access his forum ?
Wow, this is a big loss to this forum. Big example to all of us too, being more alive in his final days than most of us whose end is further away, I daresay. RIP.
He retired from Iowa Workforce Development and kept up on job openings around the nation.
Truly a FReeper great.
I always knew that if he posted something it would be worth my time to read it. He will surely be missed around here......
Knowing me, I'll end up dying on PornHub's 15th anniversary.
(whoa, that was weird just now. I felt his spirit laugh at that)
Sad news. He was one of the really good guys.
May he rest in peace.
God Bless 2ndDivisionVet...
God Bless 2ndDivisionVet and family. Prayers for all. Will be certainly missed.
