The arena is configured to hold around 7,500 people, and the house is expected to be packed Wednesday night to see the president, who is traveling to the northeastern Louisiana city hoping to muster votes for Republican businessman Eddie Rispone and keep Democrat John Bel Edwards from a second term in a crimson state Trump won by 20 percentage points. Early voting ends Saturday in the Nov. 16 election. The rally is in Louisianas Congressional District 5, which is represented by Ralph Abraham, who was Rispones Republican challenger in the primary. District 5 will prove crucial on election night. How those who once supported Abraham ultimately vote could very well decide who becomes the next governor of the state. Wednesdays rally isnt scheduled to begin until 7 p.m. at the Monroe Civic Center, but some supporters of President Trump were already camped out Tuesday night. By 11 a.m. Wednesday, hundreds were lining up and the crowds continued to grow...

What’s with the four guys standing behind the President? They haven’t clapped or reacted since he took the stage?
I really like Senator John Kennedy
I NOTICED THAT ALSO..THEN THEY SIT DOWN.. SEEMS THEY ARE ALL DRESSED ALIKE...so just wondering WHO they are...
Someone will find out...
“”It is not like he is allowed to take his own plane or jump in his own car to go places. I suspect that he would if he could. All Presidents fly on AF-1 and ride in gubmint cars. How do you think Obama got to his and Hillarys campaign events?””
And it’s not like you ignored the point of my post - he is NOT traveling on presidential business. The use of AF One is for the president in the process of his duties as president. Attending rallies all over the country for congressional candidates is not one of those. He appears and travels for Republican candidates and those campaigns or the RNC reimburses the TAXPAYER for those expenses.
Why do you think obozo always PRETENDED he was attending to some function of his job when he was really traveling for pleasure on AF One? He’d make a brief stop some place on his way to meet that requirement - always bogus and everyone knew it.

Next time you should check the facts before posting something that is pretty obvious - of course, all presidents travel on Air Force One or in government vehicles.
Are reimbursements always made for the non-government use of Air Force One? Doubtful!
Why is everyone deliberately missing the point? Of course, he should fly in Air Force One BUT the taxpayer should not be on the hook for that expense. When this or any other president travels to rallies for congressional candidates, that is supposed to be paid (reimbursed to the taxpayer)by the RNC (in this case), or the DNC in the case of demon-rat presidents or the campaigns themselves. I believe in EQUALITY - I’m watching whether it’s a Republican president or a demon-rat doing it. Does the treasury get reimbursed? Who knows? On paper it says, “yes.”

I suspect you missed the point. He has no choice, all President are forced to travel this way anywhere they go All their business is Presidential business. They are never really off.

I surely hope you don’t twist the meaning of other things in your life as you did my post about REIMBURSEMENT TO THE TAXPAYERS FOR THE USE OF AIR FORCE ONE TO CAMPAIGN FOR CONGRESSIONAL CANDIDATES!!
It’s really not difficult to understand! Had absolutely ZERO to do with the president being on AF One. It had to do with the REASON for him being on AF One which was CAMPAIGNING for other than himself!!!!!
Mixing apples and oranges can make for a jumbled up mess!!
Don’t know how to make it any more clear!
Relax. I am twisting nothing. My point is ALL Presidents HAVE to travel in the mandated way anywhere they go. I am pretty sure he broke no laws or the rats would be impeaching him for that. You cant tell a President that you MUST travel this super elaborate way and then ask him to pay for it. I cant see twisting panties into knots over it but whatever floats your boat.
The kind of response expected when you’re losing the argument.
WHO SAID THE PRESIDENT HAD TO PAY FOR IT? Is English your first language?
WHO SAID THAT YOU HAVE TO BE SUCH A JERK? I am fairly confident my use and understanding of English is better than yours. I just don’t get my panties in a wad over stupid shiite.
You already did and how can that be when you don’t understand the basic question...WHY IS THAT OUR EXPENSE?
I always consider wasting taxpayer’s money to be stupid. It’s not my fault you can’t understand what was pretty clear..it’s NOT OUR EXPENSE to bear!
Don’t worry about it - I was born during the depression so my education isn’t a question.
I understand. I understood when Obama took vacations and had the dog fly on a separate plane, it probably wasn’t his call. I also understand that if an employer (us) requires someone to take ridiculously expense modes of travel to go anywhere they want to go, the employer (us) should foot the bill. You apparently can’t or won’t get that. I am sure that if he could, President Trump would likely travel differently. Our government requires him to travel this way anywhere he goes. Perhaps you think Presidents should not go anywhere? I just don’t care much about it. Presidential travel costs are not very high on my list of concerns. You certainly seem to like Cap Locks. Did they teach you that using Cap Locks enhances your correspondents ability to better understand your points in English class, or is it just you being rude?
