I was in Florida for the last two weeks. Deliberately didn't checks the news, listen to much talk radio or even visit FR. Yeah, I'm bad, I know.
Given all that, I'd like to hear any opinions, facts, conjectures, etc you have about the Louisiana and Kentucky governors races tomorrow as well as the legislative races in Virginia. I haven't heard much polling on either - other than a quick blurb about Mississippi being closer then expected.
In the latter, I understand the Dems and their allies have been funneling a lot of money in an effort to win control of the House of Delegates.
Or if there are any other local races you think you want to talk about, that's fine too.
EVERY REPUBLICAN HAD BETTER GET OFF YOUR ASSES AND GET OUT AND VOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MS is having an Election too.
I’m hoping the Rat Jim Hood doesn’t pull it off and end up with the Governorship.
There are more White Liberal types living in my County than you think (it went two thirds for Hillary in 2016), but they call themselves Moderates. For every Tate Reeves Sign I see ten Jim Hood Signs.
Keeping my fingers crossed. Hopefully we will win MS, LA and KY. Don’t want the South to go all wobbly now.
Virginia is going to be rough tomorrow, it’s going to be very hard to hold it. Way too much outside money throw at this election.
PDJT has been campaigning very well indeed. But, he needs helpers ... people who will hold more meetings, rallies, whatever...when and where he can’t be there (after all, he does have a job to do?)
I would not expect these rallies or meetings to be as large as when the star DJT is leading them. But, if he can get a good supporting cast... and have them coordinate their functions with his own.....
they could reach out to more areas, more voters. Also, he could give short video talks as part of these meetings.
PDJT has improved the economy and helped create more jobs and opportunities for ALL Americans, including black and Latino communities that have traditionally voted straight D and seen little or no real economic or other improvements for all of it.
What PDJT needs to do in these places is reach out himself, but also with a good backup squad of speakers....political ambassadors if you will.....and listen to people’s ideas and questions............and also COMMUNICATE all the good things he’s achieved.. and how they benefit the audiences directly.
Its such a huge country, after all, having some good political speakers helping his outreach to voters... especially since he’s provided a very good record of accomplishments in office, especially economically...
would help him a great deal, imho.
Virginia will go full Maryland if the Dems take the legislature.
Yep. In Virginia they like em a nice abortionist governor in black face and a woman abusing black governor junior.
VA is lost - too many illegals, third-world parasites and NE liberals on the gov’t teat...
This, of course, will be portrayed by the media as a rejection of Trump and since this is Virginia is probably fairly accurate.
The transformation to a blue state and getting bluer daily is now complete.
Well, since the elections are tomorrow, those rallies/meetings need to be scheduled....well, it’s too late now.
i was thinking about 2020 election, but yes we agree its too late for tomorrow
I think GOv Bevin is going to have a hard time
Hopefully with TRump being in town tonight it will help
Romney is that you?
I saw some of Pence’s stump speech on you tube.
He did a great job.
Virginia is gone and tomorrow will lose both state houses to the democrats.
Northern Virginia, has only one republican in the state legislature - that is both the state house and state senate and he is expected to lose tomorrow.
Northern Virginia has 25% of the state's voters, so the rest of the state has to make up for the absolute total domination of democrats in northern Virginia and the climb is just too much.
Northern Virginia has 10 out of 40 state senate seats and 25 out of 100 state house seats. Both Tidewater and Richmond are fairly liberal, too. Virginia Beach used to be reliably republican, but now, at best, is a 50/50 split.
Not every state is having an election this Tuesday 11/5/19 . In many elections tomorrow it’s a primary. All are for local and state offices.
Media saying that Virginia will go Democratic House and Senate for the first time in a century. Not good.
I hope that Mississippi and Kentucky are at least patriotic.
I will be an election judge in Maine. There are some local races but also state-wide bond issues. I will report the votes from my precinct shorly after the polls close and will report state-wide results Wednesday morning. I live in CD-2
the district that voted for President Trump and earned him one electorial vote.
Im afraid Va going blue is almost inevitable. The fact is that much of the state is nothing more than a DC suburb. Just like Maryland. Scumbags like mcauliffe and Northam sealed its fate. Its truly a shame.
