PASS. No Sale.
Steven Moffat’s wife is named Sue Vertue, which is appropriate, because he virtue signals like nobody’s business.
Thrilling.
Would they quit ruining everything please?
This is like the forced addition of a kid into the script to help boost sales of toys, costumes and video games. Happened with Journey to the Center of the Earth and many others. No plot purpose, just commercialism.
Now shock value of gender stuff-—except it is getting repulsive as well as boring.
“True Blood” did this a decade ago.
This doesn’t surprise me because Mark Gatiss is gay.
Dr. Who! Sherlock! Dracula! Vun! Twooo! Thrrreee!
[*KRAAACK-BOOOM!!!!*]
That’s three! Three beautifully ruined IP’s!!! Ah! Ah! Ah!!!
Right up the BBCs chute.....
Sounds more like a re-make of the Rocky Horror Picture show, swapping Frankenstein to Dracula.
Didn’t Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt perform in a period piece film with this sort of theme? About 30 years ago. I recall heavy make up and colonial costumes.
Once upon a time the BBC did make decent versions of the classics. Their 1977 Dracula was probably the film version that was most faithful to the book.
This is gonna make Hugh Jackman’s take on Van Helsing look positively Oscar-worthy. PASS.
Just stop it!!!
What’s next, Frankenstein is built as a morphodite and impregnates himself? But his kid has serious daddy issues?
There sure is a LOT of pandering to one percent of the population.
They are lucky is is a TV production. It would die at the box office. Get woke, go broke.
The first DRACULA show I ever saw was what appeared to be a live broadcast (or tape) on (I think) NBC daytime TV way back in the 1950s. Maybe 1956.
I never forgot it.
It may have been this one.

“Matinee Theatre only did one “Dracula” episode. It originally aired on 6 January 1956 and was re-shown on 23 November 1956.”
Now they have ruined it just like everything they touch now days.
I predict that it will bomb.
