Lincoln Riley found a way to handle the Horns Down controversy that has lingered in the Big 12.
Asked Monday how he'll address the issue with his team for Saturday's Red River Showdown between No. 6 Oklahoma and No. 11 Texas at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Riley simply said, "Our players won't do it."

OK player: “watcha talkin about white boy?”
OU is bigger and stronger.
UT is smaller and weaker.
If OU leads by 7 at half, they win.
Else, UT will have a outstanding comeback to win.
All else fails....
Texas Tech is the best team in the Big12.
Guns up Red Raiders!
. .there is no bigger Horns fan than me even though my 2 kids both graduated from A & M.
But, I don’t support Mack Brown on this. It’s time everyone in America quit being hypocrites on speech or simple gestures or signs or whatever. Our guys and our fans are big enough and intestinally strong enough to brush off this gesture made by some player without being protected by the umpires. Longhorn players are not cry babies. They can take it.

One of the greatest running backs of all time, Barry Sanders, never celebrated a touchdown. He always behaved as if he belonged in the end zone and it was just part of his job.......He was a class act, playing for a stinking, lousy team.
If “horns down” is disrespect worthy of a fifteen yard penalty, then “horns up” is also equally worthy of a fifteen yard penalty.
I have despised OU ever since living in Oklahoma. I like Oklahoma as a state and like the people but OU fans are insufferable.
Oklahoma State seems better. My Cousin played on Oklahoma State’s 1945 or was it 1946, national championship team. Yes they really do have one tho not widely known.
An Auburn fan here. Jalen Hurts is a class act through and through. I wish him the best.
BTHOOU!

That ‘national championship’ was retroactively awarded by a committee seventy years after the fact.
I know but I read the reason and they really did deserve it.
All I can say is “Guns Up”.
TTU got beat hard by OU.
OU should be classified as a semi pro team. Like Alabama.
My brother will force me to watch this Saturday.
He loves UT. My plan is to drink heavily and pass out by half time.
OU is like Clubber Lang in the Rocky movies. A “wrecking machine “ They will nock you to tomorrow Rock.

Sanders was raised by good folks.
When you are good. There is no need too posture.
I think Al Kaline. He was like that. It’s rare today.
Dang that sounds like the Nobel Peace Prize awarded to 0bammy. LOL.

A true national champion would be embarrassed to claim it.
And I still call it the Red River Shootout.
Well, maybe in Basketball.
