(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either opinion or satire. Or both.)

I would imagine they need to feed these cells to get them to multiply? Probably much easier and cheaper to just send up frozen meat, but maybe the Astronauts need something to do up there to keep them from drilling holes?

I guess in theory you could grow human organs too. What could go wrong?

Gack! Who in the hell would want to eat that shit?!
I’d rather eat insects or fried dormice instead of lab grown meat.

"cultivated meat can be produced anytime, anywhere, in any condition"
So why space, if not for added freakishness?

With the right cut of beef and good marketing this could be quite profitable. ‘Super Delegates’ is how Hillary sold her cronies to her useful idiots, why not ‘Super Prime’ for synthetic prime rib?

Hunting, raising, and killing animals is 100% in accord with human nature. Humans have been doing it for millennia. Therefore there is nothing wrong with it.
Eating animal protein is a very efficient way of getting protein. Animal protein allowed our brains to develop the way they did.
So cut the crap about meat being bad, and that we have to eat grasshoppers and tofu.

Isaac Asimov wrote about beef being grown in space a long time ago. When you have humans that far from protein it makes sense.
