Hard to believe that pledges put up with any hazing in this day and age.
I turned down two frats in the 1960s and told them straight out, if there is any hazing involved, I'll pass.
Bottom Line - if you guys are not my friend on the first day, then I don't want to know you.

Most frat initiation is little more than harmless fun. Just like most dates do not involve duct tape and forced penetration. But, every now and then some stupid brothers go too far with the wrong person and the sky is falling. There are 3000 frat chapters on 650 campuses. Is the occurrence of a few complaints a year all that?
