I would not vote for Ventura but he’s better than almost all the D-commie candidates. Actually, a wino from the streets of Los Angeles would be better than all the D-commie candidates (especially if he stays drunk for 4 years)

I miss Ventura doing color commentary with Vince McMahon in the 80s though. That was the stuff of legends.

Say what you want about Jesse (and I’m not a fan); he’s the only governor in my lifetime who chose to send a big chunk of a budget surplus back to the taxpayers, leaving Democrats aghast.

Ventura was governor for a single term from 1999-2003.
He was elected as a Reform Party candidate but left the party shortly after becoming governor in 2000. He joined the Independence Party in 2000 but quit them when he left office at the end of his term.
He is currently a member of theGreen Party.
It was a long time ago, back when Jesse was governor of Minnesota when I heard him say on some interview,
“...the awfulness and the horribleness of..”
Let’s just say his command of the English language isn’t what I expect from my president.
